OMG. One of the men was going on and on about how the bachelorette reminded him of his mom and how he wanted a woman like his mom and basically he wants a mommy to cut the crusts off his sandwiches again and she snuggled better than his MOM. Unironically. Gag. How is this attractive!!??

And then!

One of the other men who had lost his wife (very sad, she passed away) and is a single dad point blank said it’s a lot of work and he needs help. So this man who hasn’t finished mourning and is drowning in grief and parenthood is looking for a woman to save him.

And another one! He doesn’t like art but he’s an ‘open sexual being’ so instead of painting something meaningful in the challenge he put his ‘emotions’ on the canvas and drew something sexual that had to blacked out in post. (And another guy sculpted a butt.)

THIS. THIS is what is being put forward as desirable and eligible dating material? Disgusting. I knew the show was trashy, but at least 20 years ago they made an attempt to have Prince Charming when millionaire Andrew Firestone was on.

And of course the girl is all ‘I’ll move and mold my life to your needs’. One wants a mommy, one guy a replacement wife, another to travel for HIS dream career, another sex on demand, and she promises to all of them she’ll fit herself to THEIR needs. And SHE’S the star of the show.
