Girl same, I gave up on OLD especially right before the holidays because it's just full of desperate guys who want a warm body so they aren't alone during Christmas/New Year's. No effort whatsoever and it actually hurt my self-esteem because it felt like none of the guys on there actually like me, they're just "meh" and using me to pass time. Not going back anytime soon!

Tinder is garbage. I just deleted the app today after a man stood me up (twice!) for the video chat that he wanted. I'm done; I'm happy to focus on my business.

90% of the men on Tinder are outright repulsive, physically, and yet they say in their profile, "Been on here 9 months, zero matches." Well, duh, you're disgusting, no woman would want you. The ones that I did think were worth the swipe were very obviously there for sex, not a relationship. The whole thing is very unsavory.

I think you should check if any guy on bumble is also on tinder, because if he is then you know he is faking wanting a relationship for sure.

All the guys I’ve ever known my friends/family to meet on OLD — they end up divorced. Lots of pretend-HVMs.

I hope I dont sound mean. I am definitely not saying you are not a HVW. Based on many anecdotal references that I see multiples times on this sub or even on other dating subs, OLD does not seem to bring much success to anyone. Men complain because they dont get much matches. Sometimes dont get any at all due to the ratio of men and women on dating apps and also because many dont reach women's standards or some can be simply creeps. I mean many men use it for sex so I dont really care about them. Women in many cases look for quality long tern relationships with high quality men. However, it seems like many men arent viable options for women. However, I feel like men that are high value wouldnt really use OLD or not many. I have a feeling they do just fine IRL.

I think OLD is a crapshoot because it attracts all kind of creeps and incels who would otherwise not even dream of talking to or having sex with a woman. Furthermore, HVM in their thirties and beyond are married or in committed relationships because they are decent human beings. The last point I want to make is that HVM probably have no trouble finding women in real life so they don‘t need to resort to OLD.

The only difference between Tinder and Bumble is that Tinder is full of overt misogynists while Bumble attracts covert misogynists.
