If you invite me out I expect you to have a plan. You sought me out, and asked me to clear my schedule for you. If I show up and you start having me plan the date with all these "What do you want to do?" I'm going to get pissed.

Just recently, I was asked to go see the new Spiderman Movie. I'm a marvel fan, and was looking forward to seeing it! He picked me up at my house, and he paid, but was SO PASSIVE about everything else to the point that I had to select the tickets on the screen for him and he just stuck his card in the slot. Like he just wasn't pressing the buttons on the screen???? I literally asked "you good?" And he looked panicked, as if we were performing open heart surgery.

Once the tickets were printed out, he literally handed me both of the tickets and the recent and said "Here, you hold onto these, I will just lose them." Dude. The ticket person was 10 paces away. I promptly handed him back his ticket and said "I think you'll figure it out."

Then we went to order popcorn and sodas and I HAD TO ORDER FOR HIM OH MY GOD. The worker asked "How can I help you?" And there was dead silence for a good 30 seconds before I was forced to take the initiative and order A medium popcorn and my own drink. He at least could spit out the drink he wanted 🙄

Afterwards, he asked if I was hungry and I said no, but I would be down to go and get a drink with him while he ate and we hung out. I figured the beginning of the date had to do with nerves, since we grew up together and had a crush on me since high school. (We're 21) So I gave him another shot. WE SAT IN THE PARKING LOT FOR 20 MINUTES because he kept asking me "So where do you want to go?" Until I got fucking mad and said "Home." How was this dude going to make me choose the restaurant he eats at??? I'm not even ordering food !!!!!!

I wasn't going to sleep with him anyway, but holy shit my pussy has never been more dry. I was embarrassed to be seen in public ordering some grown ass man's movie tickets and popcorn for him. Just so beyond cringe.

The movie was great though! I really enjoyed it and I didn't have to pay, so there's that at least.
