I keep having a predictable experience. I meet men and they begin to get to know me and ask me what I’m up to. Then like 90% of them “joke” about me inviting them along to whatever fun that I’m up to. I think this is bad etiquette 101. And I think they’re too lazy to come up with a good date idea.

And the cynic/realist in me sees that a cheap man can make it confusing as to who should be paying.

Potential female friends do this to me, too. It doesn’t bother me nearly as much but it is usually a breach of etiquette and someone who wants in on my life who doesn’t have their own stuff going on. I’m not the manners police but 9/10 I have bad experiences with women like this.
