I’m not sure what boring means... would I date a guy who is considered mainstream boring? Married him. Would I date a guy who is boring to me? NOOOOOOOO. If you find him boring, why would you date him? If other people think looking at rocks in a park is boring but you both think it’s fun, date away.

the concept of boring is way too personal. a guy who's into hiking, cycling and running is kinda boring for me, because I'm quite far from being a sport-ish person, but he might be totally interesting for the next girl who loves outdoor adventures.

i think it needs to be discussed around here that a guy might be a HVM and still he might have interests and personality that don't resonate with yours and that won't make any of you low value. there are many kinds of interesting men out there to have great conversations and engage in activities with. some will resonate with you more than others. and that's okay.

A guy could have everything going for him but if he is boring no thank you. Although I’m curious as to what you would consider to be boring?

I think it's important to distinguish between "boring" and "lazy/unmotivated."

"Boring" is subjective. "Boring" is based on your idea of what is fun/exciting, and everybody's idea of fun is different.

A lazy or unmotivated man is also a boring man, but it's not because he just has different hobbies. It's because he doesn't do shit. That's a LVM.

The words boring and attractive are sometimes treated like they're universal, just because a lot of us will agree a lot of the time. It doesn't matter how exciting or boring other people might find a man, what matters is that he excites you. So, a man that bores you has no value to you, at least.

If a man tells me I'm really interesting I see that as a red flag because I'm not dating to provide entertainment and no one is interesting after you've known them a few years, no one. Those things you find quirky while dating become irritating in a relationship. If interesting or entertaining is the main lure it won't last.

I assume that works the other way.

I mean personally I couldn't be with someone with a small world view or small mind. That's not necessarily boring, it's a compatibility issue. Lots of women want a cosy life.

No tbh my ex was a HVM and still boring to me because we didnt share the same sense of humor and at some point you just get annoyed. So its best to date someone who's not boring to you.

Hmm I'd need you to define boring. I don't drink, I don't go to parties, and I'm initially shy, and introverted. If there's no connection, I'm probably very boring to a lot of people.

Depends what you mean by boring. Does he have an uninteresting but stable career and generic interests? It's not glamorous but that might mean he's just a reliable and predictable guy which is honestly comforting and positive for a lot of women (especially when we've been with unstable/unreliable but "exciting" men).

If by boring you mean he has no motivation, ambition, doesn't really do much with his life but sit around playing video games and watching football- well, that's bad-boring.
