Hello comrades,

I'm a college male/non-binary person and have been interested in leading a poly lifestyle since I was a teenager, but have not had a chance in the past to get involved in the community since I live in a rural area and did not own a car. Unfortunately based on my experiences in r/polyamory and other interactions with members of the community, it is clear that it is pretty strongly dominated by feminism and wokeness, which is pretty offputting to me as I am an MRA and have had a lot of bad experiences with people of that flavor. I'm wondering if anyone here has been a part of the poly community and has managed to have a good time in spite of that obstacle, and if there is any way to pick out people who are sympathetic to men's rights, even if they are still mildly feminist. What I am especially worried about is getting shunned if people found out about my beliefs, since as you all know social cancellation is a common behavior among the woke left. Fwiw, I don't fit the manosphere stereotype at all since I am somewhat effeminate and not at all supportive of traditional gender roles, as well as extremely progressive in general and basically just your typical hippie type in most respects.

Disclaimer: If you have a negative opinion of polyamory for philosophical reasons or just think it's a bad lifestyle, just ignore this post since I'm not interested in getting into a debate about it.
