It’s not just Jeremy Renner. Several of the Avengers cast clearly cannot stand her. There is an interview with Don Cheadle, Chris Hemsworth, and her where it’s obvious they are both annoyed to even be in her presence. Chris even makes a couple of comments to rile her up by poking fun at her. There are other reports of how the Avengers cast in general has an aversion to her.
The future of Marvel movies is allegedly going to have Captain boring as the leader and more women in supporting roles. I hope they do it and I hope it is a failure.

Movies to me aren't usually something serious, if the character development and cinematography are decent I'll watch anything that doesn't preach. It's class, test, and 4 dives with SSI. One day might be a stretch just for time constraints to do all dives. 2-3 days easily. Fuck do your class on day1, test+boat dives on day 2. Instructors will hold your hand all way through, so you don't accidentally swallow your regulator or something. A retard can do it.
I don't think it's silly at all, it's like adding "passed my potty-training" on her accomplishments list.
If she was a tech diver, or instructor/dive master - that I could respect. But lets face it, that takes actual dedication and abilities.

There are classes, but the cheapest way would be to start going snorkeling/free-diving with groups and find someone that's a certified instructor. They'll often do it for very little because they just love it. I would suggest the app meetup to find good groups to go with.

Captain marvel did well almost entirely because of the hype for Endgame. People went to see it regardless of the quality just to get up to speed for Endgame which is the real movie they wanted to see. Unless her 2nd movie is also propped like that, it will tank.

Watched Captain Marvel (there was a double-feature with Endgame that had tickets, as Endgame solo was sold out), and it was easily the worst of the MCU.
