Dude, my wife calls our kids CB #1 (3yrs) and CB #2(6 yrs) so I get it.

First, we don't have set 'sex time'. sex happens whenever I want it to happen. So if we put the kids down for a nap at noon, we're fucking then and it's going to be hard and fast.

Honestly, this isn't as big of a priority as you're making it out to be. The important thing is that both you and your wife want sex, and you both try to make time for it. She wants, respects, and desires you. That's darn near more important for the health of your marriage than the actual act of fucking.

Kids, while annoying and frustrating in many ways, are special. It's indescribable how much we love them, but eventually, no matter how strong our love for them is, they grow up and leave us. Both you and your wife will look back and smile fondly at the time in your lives when your young kids were knocking at the door when you were trying to have sex.

It would be one thing if your wife was using your kids as an excuse to avoid sex that you wanted and she didn't, but if she's into sex, wants you, wants it, is a great mother and wife, keeps a great house, and you guys are managing to make some time for it despite having two kids, you're doing all right.

We seriously don't care if ours hear us. They are 10-11-13 and 15. They know we do 'it', it is up to them to stay in their bedroom past a certain time or they chance hearing us or seing us once we are done and getting out to go cleaned up.

Honesty and direct communication is our best policy. Like my wife says we have 10-11-13 and 15 years old. They are old enough to understand that We have sex. And we understand that they don't want to "surprise" us by accident. So we are honest about it. This also used to be my problem as well. We have one, 10, and he likes to be in our bedroom whenever we are in there. One day in particular I was getting some killer oral sex and he knocked on the door. I felt her head go up and i grabbed a fist full of hair and kept her doing the work. Then told him we are getting pajamas on. Well that worked. I guess the screaming bothered him and he went outside to play.

Kids should be affraid to knock on the door. Do whatever it takes to make them that way.
Use music, a fan, or some form of white noise to reduce distracting kid/pet noise outside of the bedroom.
Depending on the layout of your home, kids go to their bedrooms for quiet time an hour before it is time to sleep. They can read, play quietly, or whatever, but they should be in their rooms. If their rooms are next to yours, you could do the inverse and set them up in the living room with TV time or something and make it routine that YOU go to your room for quiet time before bed.

You are in charge of your house. If things are not happening according to the way you like, change them.
