Trump signed several pieces of pro women legislation into law including the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Act. He scaled back some of the Title IX biases mandated by Obama but to the best of my knowledge he didn’t sign any pro-male legislation into law.

From a gender perspective, he’s passed legislation favoring women but not men, the complaint apparently being that advantaging women less than feminists want constitutes being anti-female. It’s a telling perspective.

Trump has the potential to screw things up a bit but he did quite a bit of good in office too. The left is so convinced that he's a devil that will take away all their rights that they can't imagine any other possibilities.

Unless they lean to listen to the other side and learn to be optimistic, nothing will change for them.

Yeah most are real - but never forget that the US has a population 334 million. If we half it, then half it, then half it again the sample size is still so massively large it is a forgone conclusion you'll be able to find 20-30 videos of whacked out people having total meltdowns.

Yeah I consider myself more of s centrist with don't traditional views and beliefs (honestly find being reasonable isn't acceptable these days, have to be one extreme or the other). I find trump very divisive and have my concerns.. also think he will screw over our economy in Canada somewhat. But yeah it's way too much drama. Id have to assume they aren't the most well adjusted people with some serious emotional regulation issues s d possible mental health issues. Yes it can v sorta entertaining, but I would rather take the high ground then enjoy their suffering as rediculous as it might be shown

Either way, it's sad and disturbing. I mean... if Kamala had won, I would be incredibly depressed right now. I'm already a depressed individual so I'd rather not think about just how much worse I might be. This election is probably the best thing I can remember happening for me in five years, and honestly Trump isn't even the savior he touts himself as—he gives me a slight false prophet vibe, metaphorically speaking. But even if Kamala had won, I could never see myself posting some unhinged shit like that, exposing my identity in such an embarrassing and sick way. If I need to have an unhinged breakdown, it'll be in the privacy and safety of my own home and I'll scream into a pillow so that nobody hears and gets concerned.

Nobody needs to see that shit. There's nothing anybody can do anyway, so it'll just spread toxicity by uploading it. But I guess the point is either seeking validation from strangers (fair enough), or to try and stoke fires through astroturfing that takes advantage of people who are very emotionally upset and irrational right now.

If the Republicans control congress and the presidency, I expect they will introduce legiation for a national abortion ban. It ia possible that some brave Republican will vote against it. But it is hard to say.

He's threatened to dismantle healthcare. He's threatened to deport citizens. He's advocated for "justice" against "the enemy within". And, according to his former chief of staff... Trump wants the generals Hitler had.

So... if you believe such things; widely reported news stories that right-wing supporters don't seem to mind in the slightest... You might legitimately believe that the USA just elected someone with a history of failed businesses, broken marriages, political lies in office, and strangely fascism-adjacent rhetoric. And considering that he also seems to support police brutality and other authoritarian horseshit, perhaps he is a legitimate threat to what little democracy we have in this country.

After the Democrats' rhetoric surrounding Trump on the run up to the election, some of them literally think democracy just ended. They just got pushed out of the echo chamber for the first time in months, maybe years; they're very real reactions.

If you have believed Trump is evil having the majority of the country support him either requires concluding you are wrong or half the country is evil. I think a lot of Democrats are having mixed feelings, understanding the neocons are out of power. If you were a hard-core Obama supporter in 2008, this is a victory. But a very confusing one.
