Well, to be fair, I wasn't planning on going to see it anyways, so boycotting it will be super easy :P

Might pirate a copy later, and put it in the massive folder of other movies I never bothered watching yet. I am saving them for a rainy month, or in case I break my legs and arms and can't do anything else or something. I dunno.

It is an elegant solution for those that want to make a statement with their cinema monies. They can still see a movie with a female lead without rewarding those in Hollywood who seem to want to bash men in return for SJW cred.

Convinced my friend to skip this movie for a Korean flick! Was a blast and I enjoyed not paying my money to Larson and her lackies. It was a good movie too, probably better than CM considering the reviews it is getting.

Will watch it when the pirate boat sails in, and give it a fair chance, but that's all the courtesy I will extend.

I don't really want Alita mixed up in the political crap, but Alita: Battle Angel is actually pretty great. You should go see it.

Most of the critics' complaints about it are kind of bizarre. Mostly they boil down to, "This movie is from a larger universe, and they didn't answer all questions in this movie." Yeah, no crap. Well, that Hugo was miscast, but I agree on that one. Everyone else is awesomely spot-on though.

nah im off the cinemas with my wife on the weekend to see it. Not going to let 1 actors words change my desire to see this. She shouldn't cancel out everyone else's work, she shouldn't cancel out a decade of story building and she wont. not for me anyway, you let her control how you think though. Don't go see it if you really want but if you're an MCU fan there's absolutely no point in boycotting this film.

It's going to make $1billion. Easy. Brie Larson could've been a convicted murderer and it'd make $1billion.

The incredibly small minority of people boycotting this film will make a very negligible impact on the ticket sales.

If you're already an MCU fan then the only person you're impacting by not seeing it is yourself as you won't be 100% in the loop for Endgame.
