Seriously though, I think men have many valiant virtues. I think manliness traditionally has been about raising above your personal sphere and consider what's good for the group in a larger context and over a longer time span.

I googled around a bit and found courage, wisdom and integrity as the most important ones. I personally value how logic and reason has a strong precence in the male tradition.

Maybe we can come up with something based on some of those?

That’s actually interesting and I was thinking about it right now.

Toxic masculinity essentially says “he is an evil man”.

If a girl is “toxic” she is said to have had a difficult childhood.

So either we start countering “toxic” with “toxic” or we accept that both genders have their problems rooted in childhood trauma. And say that out loud.

Yes, men and woman make mistakes. These mistakes are based on childhood trauma and shortcomings in upbringing. That we must counter TOGETHER - men and woman.

I support your idea. It’s great. But in the long run - 100/200 years - I think a generalised free therapy should be made available for everybody to enjoy. All of the negative labels you speak about would vanish.

So coming back to your idea of a term: I’d say “immature”. Because all traumatised children and later adults have not had the chance of maturing in a safe and healthy environment. But the good thing is maturity can be achieved at any age. It’s not vanished. It’s inside of us waiting to be unlocked.

So my suggestion for the term would be “immature”. That goes for men and women alike. It’s a neutral term and doesn’t place shame or guilt or anything on anybody. And just clinically describes the individual.

you often se videos of men doing thinks to save people lives or defend them if someone is attacking them.

We do have a term for that, and it is 'hero'. But I don't think that should be something gendered. Men shouldn't be made to feel obligated to sacrifice themselves for others' sake any more than women are made to feel that way. Men and women are of equal value, and none is more disposable than the other.
