I don't get it but this has been my experience too. Some women on these dating apps find it fun to insult guys and to be insulted back. I learned not to take it personally, but I still find it trashy.

Try replying with clever comebacks. If they're interested in meeting after that, just use them and ditch them, don't go for anything serious with people like that.

Whatever you do, don't pay for premium or anything like that. These apps are designed to rip you off. It's a lot of fake profiles and scammers. You have a better chance winning the lottery than finding someone decent on Tinder.

I truly feel sorry for the younger generation growing up in today's dating situation. It's a shitshow.

I'm downright shocked how much online dating has changed in just the 7 years since I last used those services. I thought it was bad hearing about regular girls demanding $5 in the first conversation just to talk to them. Now they're matching with guys just for the sole purpose of insulting them?!? If this is what young guys are growing up with, it's no fucking wonder incels are a thing and growing so rapidly.

I remember when online dating was in its infancy. Around 2005-2006, I was using yahoo personals. All I ever got was married women wanting to cheat on their husband's and boyfriends. I fooled around with them for a bit. Not really proud of it. I was coming off a bad break up back then. After getting my tires flattened and threatened and harassed I quit doing it. I don't trust online dating.

Being on tinder was your first mistake. It's a cesspool, you're gonna end up wasting your time chasing the dragon for a dope hit. Trust me I know from experience, you'll find other things that have nothing to do with swipes way more fulfilling.

Keep in mind, that a big chunk of any if these dating apps are (romance or other types of) scammers.

Men posing as women, women posing as men.

This may be a scammer rather than a potential date.

Nasty and arrogant, regardless of who they may be.

I’ve had two matches that matched just to insult me too. I don’t get why people do that. It especially stings when they’re your only matches! Sorry that happened to you; I would consider moving off Tinder as generally people on Bumble are nicer. Hinge on the other hand was the worst for abuse from women, probably because it’s funner to stomp on men who tried sending you a message first

Report her oh and she maybe using Facebook if your privacy settings are set to public to cross reference your town, name, and age to find pictures on your Facebook. Honestly that behavior is incredibly uncalled for. Some women are so ugly on the inside it’s lucky you find out early and waste no time on them.

Two possibilities. Either she's jaded and insulting men makes her somehow feel better about herself. Or, she's testing you. All women prefer a man with a backbone, so women will frequently test a man to see if he'll roll over or stand up for himself.
