MGM just happens to be more widely accepted.

Both are not appropriate actions without consent.

Most feminists support the notion that consent doesn't occur until at least the age 16.

when i see people use the word femminists to describe a sexist women.... it makes me kinda upset.

becuase your avaerge girl in america is sexist to such an extream extent, that its no longer very relevent to use the word femminist to describe the purpertratoirs of mens discrimnation and opprestion.

for example, the amount of females who have hit men with intent to cause pain is alarmingly high... but, eqaulity alarmingly high is most women dont even realize its sexist to hit a guy thinking he should not be allowed to hit her back becuase she is female.

ya i know that is not what you meant about women who calim to be femmists (equal rights activists)... when they are really sexist femminists (women who are trying to get special treatment)

(Female) feminists really ought to just not express any opinions on male circumcision. It is a choice about men's bodies that have absolutely nothing to do with the opposite sex, especially compared to other bodily autonomy issues ie abortion and women. I'm honestly a little surprised feminists are pushing this particular issue, it's like they are just trying to troll men's rights supporters. Why would they be interested in writing an article on it at all? It has nothing to do with women's rights.

I completely agree with her line of reasoning. In a place that has extremely high levels of HIV infection, it does much less harm than good to perform an unwanted medical procedure like this.

The negatives are completely outweighed by the positives. This is also why we require children to be vaccinated before attending public schools... sure, a tiny number of children have problems resulting from the vaccines (though not autism, but that's another topic). But it prevents massive spreads of serious illnesses, so it's worth it.

The problem is that it is EXTREMELY questionable whether circumcision does anything to prevent HIV or not, so Jill is starting from a false premise to begin with. That's why she arrives at a wrong conclusion.

She does agree that circumcision is wrong when done in places like the United States, she was only talking about it being used as an emergency measure.
