Learning to accept and love who you are is important for your well being. I know that society treats us like shit. But don’t hand them that power of your self-worth. We deserve better than that.

I'd never say that in a million years no matter how bad things get. I like being muscular and vascular, having a deep voice, feeling like an imposing figure. 🫂 I feel like there's a lot of subconscious programming affecting our minds, to view ourselves as less capable, attractive and intelligent. I'd always view it as a rich Vs poor at the end of the day. Just yesterday, the super heavy bag was flying like it was empty from all the training I did over the years, and I proudly admit that I love having serious KO power, strangely one of the few things that I have in this life that are keeping me alive. Focus, commit, adapt, execute. You're more capable than what they've brainwashed you to believe, you cannot resolve certain problems that you're not aware of. It's all man made horse shit at the end of the day, no one really knows what's happening on the deeper levels.

I don't know what's the cause you hate being a man. Maybe you need to make it clear "you hate being a man, or you hate the stereotype about being a man". In the past I also said the same, but late I understand the problem is not being a man, but stereotype about how to be a man. If the problem is the second (stereotype), you have right to reject and have different opinion about men must blablabla.

I've been alive long enough to see times where life was easier as a man and easier as a woman. Right not being a good man is hard, there doesn't seem to be much payoff for doing it, no one notices how hard it is, and everyone else gets benefits and privilege.

These are the times we need good men, and men who are okay saying they wish it was easier or wish they were female, but keep trying to make things better.

It isn't fair man, but use your knowledge of things being unfair and try to change things, even small things in daily life, for the better for good men.

It's a different kind of battle we're in now, but we still need to stick together and suck shit for the greater good because we believe in something better. It might be thankless but for the men you surround yourself with who know how hard it can be.

I'm sorry you're struggling man, if I could fix everything I would but all I can offer you is my support and my ear.

Being a Man, you generally don't have to worry about your safety like you would if you're a Woman. That's probably honestly something most of us take for granted. Not that EVERY man poses a physical threat to EVERY woman ALL the time. However, its nearly impossible to empathize with what that part of the female experience is like.

There are plenty of reasons to be happy with being a Man, as there likely is with being a Woman. Don't let the media and things you read online get you down, try not to take it all so personally. Honestly, maybe spend less time online on subs like this where the negativity and examples of misandry are constantly shoved in your face.

I also hate it. I'm too much of an outlier. I'm too sensitive. It's not appreciated, so I have no one to nurture or comfort. Abused as boy, and now seen as a threat. Sexually assaulted, and now seen as a predator. I've gotten all the hatred and vitriol for being male, the disbelief, the roughness and carelessness, and none of the supposed benefits and privileges. It's like a boot stepping on your face forever. It's being gaslit from cradle to grave. It's miserable.

I'm trying to make the most of it anyway, but it is very hard some days. I can't say I'm not tempted to stop trying and end it. I'm not even sure what I'm trying for anymore. A fantasy, maybe, only exists in my head.

But meanwhile... well, here we are. *hugs* I relate to you.

I feel the same way. Transition does not make me a female. However, living as feminine as it natural for me (no more, no less) has been a saving grace for me.

Nah man, being a man is fucking awesome. Yeah life sucks at the moment living in this modern matriarchy, but I’d much rather be my own person and not part of the hive mind of society, and as a man I have the strength and will to do that and not give in to the conformity of consensus.

A feminised society is what has lead to so many people struggling with mental health issues and having thoughts like yours. It is not a healthy way to live, especially for men but seemingly for women too as statically they are the most unhappy and depressed even though this modern society is entirely made to support and proliferate them.

Be a man. Look at the greatness that men have accomplished over our entire history and be proud. Be strong.
