I've noticed this a lot. My guy friends are always really surprised when i compliment them or show them any physical affection, even platonically. I try to make people feel good about themselves. I'm very much an advocate for women's rights and I joined this subreddit because people here want mens rights and I didn't know what that constituted until I joined and it's nice to learn about but heartbreaking. Now I'm advocating for mens rights and women's rights because the double standards sicken me and I have a lot of guy friends i want to protect

Men are pretty simple creatures, all we need is validation and encouragement; to feel like we are useful, not a loser(this counts especially coming from the opposite sex).
The moment that goes away and we feel like we are useless is when all our bottled up emotions spill out and we decide to flip the table and burn the whole building down because the game must be rigged.
As a man I’ve met very few people in my life that truly understand what it is I crave. And I cherish those people as my closest and most trusted friends.

Toxic masculinity basically refers to men telling other men that kind of thing, which unfortunately does happen. Like when you see an article about a female child rapist, you do frequently see men saying things like, "where was she when I was 13," and various other similar statements. That is what toxic masculinity is supposed to refer to. Though the term like most things unfortunately ends up being misused.

Please differentiate communism and socialism as those are quite different terms and meanings: you dont see a massive death toll in scandinavian countries or Canada.
The moment you bring up the argument of 100 million dead because of communism/socialism you close down the path for discussion of the ideas which may have a great outcome if implemented correctly. Dont be a hypocrite.
If you look it from one sided perspective sure, you get the impression that communism is bad and has a big death toll, but what you also fail to see, is how post WW2 countries were aided by the Marshall plan, just to create an illusion that they are better off because of capitalism, and not American corporations and government fearing that Western Europe will turn red.
You also should have a search how capitalist democracies such as US and UK were responsible for Latin American government overthrowing, orchestrating coups left right and centre. Surely you would agree that it only benefited the US and UK and not the place where those revolutions happened? You only are rich, because you’ve made other countries poor.

1 - Both of these false stats are based on convictions, not crimes comitteed. If the cops didn't focus on black communities and enforce more vigilantly there, the stats wouldn't be so bad. Similarly, If all of the domestic violence, for example, was actually prosecuted and treated equally, regardless of gender, the stats wouldn't be so bad.
2 - If it weren't for socioeconomic factors giving black Americans a harder time with fewer options, there would also be less crime from their demographic. Same is true for expectations of men. When you're valued on what you can provide, looking good isn't a cheat code, and just getting an MRS degree ain't an option, there's more pressure, and you're more likely to snap, get desperate, etc.
You know who gangs peer pressure to join their gangs? It's not white women. Who does culture say should be dangerous and cool? Not white women. Who, when they're completely out of options, has the fewest resources available to them? Boom - crime.
I thought all of that was pretty fucking obvious, but I guess when you really WANT to be racist and sexist, you can ignore all of that and just pretend that being black or being male means you're innately more violent and criminal.
