So I work at a fairly laid back office, but there is one thing that really bothers me. Our company has a dress code laid out which prohibits jeans (except on fridays), exposed shoulder shirts and open toed shoes. As a man, I come to work every (except friday, jeans and polo) day in a long sleeve button down with slacks and dress shoes. I'm cretain if I didn't my boss would say something to me about it. Yet every day at least 1/2 of the female staff violate the dress code. Many of them wear jeans every day of the week or wear tank tops/off the shoulder tops and flip flops. In addition they wear all kinds of unprofessional clothing that while not specifically prohibited, is not professional wear and is usually more club wear.

Does anyone else have similar experiences? Any suggestions on what I could do (contact HR)?
