I just use raw logic, and this typically helps young men figure things out for themselves well enough.

20-25% chance you get herpes these days, be careful
Women can lie outright and you are still on the hook, be wary
When they don't get what they want, they can become very vengeful and petty - pair with point 2 above, be cautious
Even if you do fall in love, the laws in Western countries make marriage and children very risky and poor options, be advised
You can do everything right, and have won the genetic lottery, but still lose 100% of the time, because the game can't be won, you can only opt out and decide for yourself not to win or lose, be vigilant

After spending some time with these harsh and sobering facts, the young men usually come to their senses and realize that everything from OF to online dating to even social media is a crock of shit and huge waste of their time.

This is when they stop paying attention to these clowns, and start focusing more on themselves.

Note that it isn't about putting women down, it's about knocking them off that stupid pedestal in the young man's head.

I hope for such young men to find love and start families one day. I do. They just can't do it in a westernized country, simple as that.

I don’t know if we created it but our loss of confidence in ourselves has led to a folly of wasting away time puffing up these narcissists. What I’ve been doing to help is I don’t text women. They just like screenshotting your whole life and either posting it online or sending it to their group chat for attention. If they want to talk to me. Phone call in person or bust. I also don’t have any social media outside of this (one less) and when a girl looks too promiscuous in public I look away and and completely ignore. Same with the gym I’ll move to a place of quiet when a girl comes dressed for attention.

And I try to be extra pleasant to women who seem to have good values.

If I might share another thing… try not to get yourself down because these internet babes get too much attention. They are going to be a mess for any guy that wins them. It has always been that way (most of the time, not always). Prior to the internet, the most beautiful women always had guys following them around and hitting on them, everywhere they went. This phenomenon is not new. I will never forget how beautiful Joan London was in the late 70s, early 80s… The world was shocked when she married an overweight guys. I believe they are still together. Please guys, get off the internet and get out there and meet women face to face.

I agree but it's never going to happen. Men are quicker to throw other men under the bus and get their way. For every guy who refuses to be a doormat for women, there are a hundred who will pander to them, give them money, etc. It's not a realistic take.

As a divorced older gentleman, re entering the dating online arena was an extreme shock to me. Being that I was an adult prior to mass availability of the internet, I knew there was a better way. Today this May be a dangerous venture, up north and on the east coast but being in the south, where women are actually friendly, I just started telling women how I felt about them, when seeing them face to face. Everything respectable. “You look incredibly beautiful today”, “that is a beautiful dress”, not pickup lines, just vocalizing my observation. I have been divorced for two years and am 50+. I go to the gym 3 times a week, nothing extreme. I am careful about what I eat. I am healthy but likely, at first glance, would be rated a 6 or 7 by most 6 and up women. But in the last two years I have dated 4 women in there 30s, one of which is a 10 (currently). None of them have asked me for money or asked me to pay their rent or asked to move into my home. Gentleman… if you take care of yourself you will be marketable no matter how old you are. Please be patient and if you live in an area where all the women are hateful and disrespectful… you can move. I challenge men to leave online dating and put yourself out there. Engage women everywhere you go. Make eye contact and say Good Morning, afternoon, evening and night. Basic etiquette does have a positive impact. Best of wishes, good luck to all

If you want men to stop giving attention in the way you imply then you would have to bring back religion, chastity, monogamy and demonize promiscuity or sexuality. That's the only way. If you leave these people to their own devices they will fold no matter what. I'm not so different as I watch porn and masturbate to Instagram models or so on. That can still be considered attention but that's my only sexual relief admist my frustration so what choice do I have

The desire for sex is as strong as any other need like hunger or thirst so you have to contain like we've had done prior to the sexual revolution or all hell breaks loose. It's not an accident a lot of religion or mythology have evil feminine figures wreaking havoc to the world. It sure isn't because of the patriarchy or "misogyny" in this context but because they knew it held mereit. Another good idea is to legalize prostitution.

Adopting certain aspects of the Red Pill, cultivating an abundance mindset, and putting in the work to improve your sexual market value (SMV) are rational ways to curb this problem. If you're fulfilling your life's purpose, then you shouldn't have time to simp or play stupid games with low quality women. Collectively speaking, men need to cut off attention however weaker men will attempt to fill this void since they're desperate and/or lonely.

No this idea isn't going to work. Regardless of the median age of the user's of this sub the men the you're trying to reach with this post i.e. the average none reddit using normie, isn't going to see it. Besides post and circle jerks like what's happing in the comments misses the point. These men want families, relationships (casual or serious), sex, etc... for some of them they don't have a way to get attention from women otherwise. Even the men who don't have to resort to such methods put up with shit because they aren't exactly swimming in options here. Saying to either of these men to just stop is frankly ludicrous.

On the extreme end going up to a 28 year old virgin and saying "Don't give these females attention bro. Focus on your life and go your own way" is telling a starving man to be picky with the food he's not eating. Even if the case isn't as extreme you aren't exactly offering any viable alternatives besides maybe some pseudo trad setup and moving to a different country.

Don't get me wrong I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you completely. I just think it's idealistic. I think you should try to appeal to be people to people in a realistic manner and have realistic expectations of their behavior. Plus understand what people want and are actually capable.
