That's one of the more egregious bans I've seen, it's ridiculous. I've been banned from subs for similarly absurd reasons. That's why I subscribed to a few subs that call out asshat mods like those, ones that apply their own opinions and ban simply out of pettiness and their agenda. It's very frustrating. Yours is the worst I've seen though.

Edit : subscribed to r/offmychest for shits and giggles, low and behold I was banned. Literally no notice, no message. Just tried to comment to see what would happen and it shows I'm banned. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't such bullshit.

Automatic banning is dumb as a whole.

The entire reason I prefer reddit is that subs are mostly public unless and until Reddit decides that they are too dangerous to be left public and quarantines them, which is usually a sign that if they don't change, they're going to be shut down.

The real problem I see here is that r/MensRights isn't an incel subreddit, and that there is significant activity here by incels regardless, probably because all their other subs got shutdown. As a community, we all need to work on calling that out when we see it, and not joining the bandwagon when the incels start brigading. Blatant misogyny does not go hand in hand with Men's Rights, which is what incels would have us all believe.

There was a subreddit called r/hijabis i got banned there because males were not allowed there. While they clearly wrote that males are also allowed. I just didnt understand the point of the ban. And i didnt made any controvertial post. I just didnt get their rules. Why were males not allowed. Seemed sexist to me. Imagine if there was a subreddit where females were not allowedm everyone would assume bad stuff happening in that sub

Honestly I feel something should be done to clear the "misogynist incel" space name stuck to men's rights.

This has been going on all across reddit for years. We are the boogeyman sub of reddi, and we have enough members that people will know across the internet if we disappear.

I'm partially convinced they let this sub remain so the powers that be can monitor us easier.

Welcome to the current culture war. I am actually a very objectionable and partial person when it comes to most narratives. But tbh, being on Reddit has shown me thats its truly a culture war at this point.

Ive been banned from nearly all subreddits that have a very left leaning narrative, for being objectionable, skeptical and asking questions about such narratives. So in a way i feel like ive really been forced to choose a side and fight for it. And ive become very partisan because of it because i feel the issue lies with current politics.

Most activism is based on rights that have been infringed upon. Men have never had their rights infringed upon throughout history...unless it is men of minority. So I don't see why it is such a big deal to advocate for specifically "men's rights". Of what? What specific men's rights have been taken away?
