If we men are to get our rights sorted, we will have to act united even though it doesn't come to us naturally. Women are very united when it comes to standing up for their issues. We men are not. Simply 'being the bigger person and shrugging every little thing done to us because it's silly' isn't going to save us especially when there are a lot of people out there who will use every little thing against us, every silly tactic against us. Look where 'shrugging things off' have gotten us. Masculinity is being discriminated, bashed and hated. We get told we are the bad ones. And yet we are the 'hateful' ones and 'discriminators' to them. Never underestimate the reputation destruction capability of women. I do not hate women. But I accept the reality that both men and women are capable of being toxic and cruel.

The issue, and the reason you see such pandering, is because women control 70% of discretionary spending in the US.

Whatever effort we make has to be effective enough to counter whatever sales they gain from woke marketing.

all that does is encourage companies to treat beliefs as something they can make into a commodity : something to sell. if all companies care about is their bottom line , then clearly gillette's ad was motivated by trying to appeal to a market , getting consumers to buy to support their ideological beliefs. you're just buying further into the scheme by promoting it in the opposite direction.

Let’s face it. Females are the main consumers and engine of stimulation for economies. How many men do I know that own a single set of cutlery and kitchenware? Then how many women do I know that have to have the latest fashion in every possible color combinations? All of media and advertising know this. Any show or commercial you see will be geared towards women. It’s why Homer Simpson has been an idiot for decades. Men have been belittled in media because we are opting out of the economic engines.

I get where you're coming from.. but the main problem you run into is that Gillette's parent company: Procter & Gamble owm many brands (Gillette is just one of them)

So for a boycott to be effective you would need to also stop buying:

- BrAun (Deodorant)
- Head and Shoulders (Shampoo / Conditioner)
- Oral-B (Tooth brush / paste)
- Vicks
- Old Spice
- Colgatte (Toothpaste)

etc

All of those are owned by Procter & Gamble and unless you look up whether the product you are purchasing belongs to the company you're trying to boycott you may well end up buying their other products anyway.

Just saying.

I find it easier to buy the products I like and not care about who gets triggered by things like commercials.
