On a personal level, I’ve found cutting everyone out of my life who identifies as a feminist and will not listen to reason fairly effective at gaining some peace in life.

As far as making a wider change, I’m mostly focused on my kids. It’s hard to make a small positive impact to a great many people but much easier to make a large positive impact to a few.

I’ve also tried to be a friend for guys I see getting beat up by the system and invite one of my son’s friends to join us on stuff we do together who really needs some decent male role models.

be as neutral as you can be

be as knowledgeable as you can about facts.

Do not engage an idiot - because that would make two idiots.

If they persist remind them that you are speaking fact not an opinion, as such they need to do their research. not the other way around.

Never do this solo - make sure you have a few people around, why? when large marge figures out she is losing, she will make a false statement. Which will make her look worse in the long run.

Shift from viewing yourself as the provider and protector so "you must sacrifice your goals, dreams and happiness" mind set to one where your goals and dreams and happiness are prominent, then you choose who to provide and protect (yourself first).

I always look for opportunities to seed doubt. Most topics of discussion can be approached through very indirect ways, and nobody might even realise you're trying to change beliefs

Not to make a too lengthy post, let's take an easy one. Woke marketing. I'd go at it in this way "It really worries me that soulless coorperations appropriate causes people care about, to the point that women look at companies almost as their friends."

If it's a particular example like the P&G - Gillette atrocity, a couple of years back, it didn't take me too long to find out about animal testing and other goodies in the brand's history. Not too hard to kill people's joy about Gilettes "brave" message to the men then.

Like I said, easy examples. Do some research, find the angles people didn't care to look for. Seed doubt and lot's of it!

I realized I am like partially MGTOW. I am MGTOW when it comes to progressive women, unlike back in highschool (like 2010) I would date them. But, I would still date "normal" women today and I would judge based on their appearance. However, I would still be super careful since almost any "approach" will be viewed as harrassment.

I don't care at all for the passport bro thing because it seems like wayyy to much effort.

I tend to frame it as both genders have significant issues that the other is partially blind to because they don't personally experience it. If we want equality we shouldn't be arguing over who has it worse, we should be trying to make our society better for all people, regardless of what's between their legs. It's not like we should ignore women's higher date rape statistics because men suffer more work related deaths, we as a culture should work to fix both. They're both problems. Trying to focus only on one is like a person in the ER with a gunshot wound saying the person with a stab wound shouldn't be there because their problem isn't as bad. They're both bad, they're both problems.

That sometimes gets into a conversation with people about men's issues they've never heard about because why would they? It's outside their echo chamber. It also requires backing up what I said by listening to their concerns and taking them seriously.

However in the past when I've had conversations like that I feel like both people walk away feeling more like "The system that does fucked up things to both of us is the bad guy, not a gender."

Then again, I've talked to some people who simply cannot break focus from their chosen issue and any other issue is just noise to them, or worse, seen as an attempt to take attention away from their cause. Those folks aren't really worth talking to.

Either walk away from it, cut those people out of your life, or confront it (if done by people you care about, it's often not worth it otherwise). Sample conversation:

Relative says in passing, "I hate men!"

Immediately respond, "You hate me?" Call her on it. "Or are you saying I'm not a man? Because either way you're insulting me and acting like a mindless sexist. Stop it."

"I was just kidding!"

"No you weren't. God, I hate women."

"Hey, that's not cool!"

"Yeah, see how it feels? Do better."

The solution is as soon as you figure out she or he calls themselves a feminist you just forget about friendship with them and be careful about them cause people who support an extreme idiology, think and act as an extremist in other aspects too

Bringing attention to issues and documenting them can be a positive though. When you are going through struggles and you see other people that are dealing with the same thing it can give some people positive feelings in that you don't feel alone.

It's the example of the ambulance. Is a siren a negative that means someone is hurt or a positive that means someone is getting help?! Sometimes what is positive to one person is negative to another and vis versa.

As far as solutions I would say consider where you are spending your resources(time, effort, money). Are causes or people that treat men poorly worth your resources just because they are popular or appear popular? It's worth considering at least.

I’ve had to avoid people who don’t think for themselves or apply things they learn to their life. However, over the past 20 years, it seems that people rely more and more on others or a device to do their thinking for them. I get it. Sometimes life is stressful and it’s been economically brutal on middle and lower class people. There’s little time to think just enough time to work for a corporation all day and night just to go straight to bed and start over.

A narrow opposition to Feminism would be ineffective and impossible. Marxism is anti-Feminist, but in a very specific way (distinct from the opposition to Feminism seen from, say, Conservatives) that understands its role in the capitalist totality, its usefulness to ruling-class ideology in general, (as opposed to the notion from many idiotic Right-wingers that it's propagated conspiratorially by a closed cabal of Jews, Freemasons etc.) and that the structural issues that lead to these issues for men and how Feminists rhetorically justify it have their root here, as opposed to Feminist movements or Feminism-as-ideology in isolation. Note that whenever you talk to a Feminist that they always rhetorically frame arguments against your points with the express purpose of detracting to what I have just laid clear, usually making the most banal personalizing accusations of misogyny on the part of the critic of Feminism. It is not a game you can beat them at. The only way to have a consistent position and oppose it is to oppose bourgeois society as a whole.

If you meet a nice foreign woman who meets with your expectations and is traditional in nature then I can see it working ONLY if you move to their country. number 1 is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT. i once was told to replace all off my self hate/negative thoughts with the positive opposite. it might sound stupid and feel very phony at first but after six months of this my suicidal ideation was all but gone, and same with the self hate. i did FINALLY love myself and i feel as though i am worthy of love. you cannot love another person the right way if you don't love your self

not to say it's 100% as i still have bad days but the thoughts are fleeting and don't drag me down with them
