What are some things that this movement has actually achieved?

"the men's rights movement" doesn't exist. There are many individual groups which are focused on specific issues, most of which are very local. We don't have the political power and national presence that comes with being backed by almost every government and major global corporation.

A handful of domestic violence shelters here and there, the occasional (actual) equal rights case, a little more attention to fathers rights... It's hard to get anything big done when you're actually the underdog fighting for basic rights instead of just pretending that you are.

Also consider the number of circumcisions that haven't happened because people are more aware of the facts now, and other societal perceptions that are (slowly) changing...

What has Feminist actually achieved, other than suppressing opposition and creating division? Because everything that they claim to be fighting against either doesn't exist or always seems to be getting worse...

The problem we face is many of us need to maintain anonymity because we could lose our jobs or family for advocating against MGM and the draft or for paternity tests. Until we can achieve not losing our livelihood over our political beliefs, we really can’t accomplish much more than to keep improving awareness.

We’ve also gotten some states to pass or at least consider 50:50 custody laws.

Your comparison is not valid. Feminism has enjoyed elite backing from the first wave, with all the extraordinary resources and institutional support that that implies. The men's rights movement has no such support.

It gives men a space to air their grievances. It helps them know that they aren't alone. It empowers men to help each other or joke.

One of the issues is that women often interject themselves in male spaces and complain about sexism. It's dumb. Like at one time, there were the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. Then a girl wanted to be a boy scout and due to the changing climate the boy had to accommodate the girls and viola! Now it's just Scouting America.

The same shit happens fucking EVERYWHERE.

Men need space to be Men amongst Men. We don't carry the same judgment and emotional baggage that women bring along to the party.

But women are more than entitled to fucking everything and excluding men from their little spaces. Even now, in this sub, there are tons of women who feel the need to try and change men, and it's really aggravating.

Women want Men to not approach them and be left alone? FINE! All we ask is the same thing in return.

There are several trends currently happening in western civilization that can be attributed, at least to some degree, to the men's rights movement.

Marriage rates are in decline

Birth rates are in decline

Circumcision rates are in decline

There may not be a direct link from the men's rights movement to these trends; nevertheless, something has to be causing them. As long as we keep working, we can continue to make progress on these issues.

This movement has gotten me married to a woman who sees the world's injustices done to women AND men.

She cares deeply for the victims regardless of gender. She dislikes circumcision, the biased court system, messed up school system etc etc

We will be raising our kids to have compassion for ALL genuine victims and to view these things objectively. My kids will be having kids and doing the exact same thing to achieve a more fair world.

This is what this movement has achieved for me. These effects will compound and continue for the rest of mankind.

In Denmark they have made shelters for male victims of domestic violence and abuse, and the laws now also recognize male victims thanks to Allan Schmidt and his cooperation with the alt. right/far right parties in the danish parliament.

This forum is largely blue pilled. This means that many findings cannot be discussed here at all, even scientific studies are ignored. They are simply mourning the old days.

There is self-censorship. This is justified by the fact that otherwise the sub will be banned. I fear that this danger actually exists, but bans on speaking and the restriction of freedom of expression mean that discussions here ignore reality.

The truth cannot be stopped, but the paradigm shift is delayed. You can lie to one person permanently or to the masses for a certain period of time. But it is not possible to lie to everyone permanently.

Dudes used to get kicked in the balls for the most trivial things. I don’t think it’s viewed as "funny" anymore. But it wasn’t always like that. It was just seen as a big joke where as a man I can say it’s the most agony I’ve ever been in. I can remember rolling on the ground in pain over something as stupid as who gets a remote because friends/siblings/whoever would take the quick win even though that escalates it to 100.
