You'd think that anger at the fact someone could get away with so much, and fear it'll happen again because the law doesn't say I have the right to legal recourse or even the right to self-defense would be legitimate anger and legitimate fear.

And yet, I'm told, over and over again, that my anger and fear are illegitimate.

At the same time as women will say they're angry because, while prisons and death rows are filled to the brim with the rapists of women, men get away with it too often. They'll say they're afraid because despite having the right to self-defense, they are offended at the suggestion they should use it.

My anger at being raped and my rapist getting away with it scot free, despite the fact she admitted to it like it was just no big deal, like she was just stealing my lunch from the fridge, and my fear at it happening again with me being prohibited from using self-defense are illegitimate.

Women's anger at being raped and their alleged rapists having the right to ask "are you absolutely 100% sure you got the right guy? Because if I'm not the guy whom actually did it, not only will he get away with it, but a guy like me whose only crime was just to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time will spend the next decades in a cage, or will sit on The Chair!", and their fear of it happening again because they're allowed-but-unwilling to defend themselves, are legitimate.

Nobody wants me to be wrong more than me.

If I were wrong as people claim I am, maybe I’d be able to wind up this account and go home? Maybe I’d be able to spend less time thetinmen, and more time, well, living my life?

Maybe I could walk my dog more? Maybe I could go to the park with my girlfriend?Perhaps I’d have more time doing my actual job? Or I could do nothing at all?

I know I would be richer in money, time, and probably happiness too. But here I am.

I’m being honest. I want someone to say to me the right combination of words, so whatever “I’m missing” suddenly appears, those stubborn cogs finally click into place and I realise, I’ve been a very, very, stupid boy.

Then I will realise, all those who fill up my dms with their slurs were right; and all their tears, tantrums, and feeble threats were not in vain.

That the mountains of research I’ve gathered over the years, well, it is nothing better than cheap toilet paper. And the academics and experts I’ve befriended during that journey, are all mere grifters.

The triumphant foot of feminism, finally squashes down upon my sternum, as I wheeze and beg for mercy.

But if such a thing were to happen, it surely would have done so by now.

So I keep going, until something changes. Maybe there’ll be an endorsement, or support from a newspaper, celebrity, or media outlet?

But no. So I throw up another post, yet again shocking in its revelations.

And again.

And I wonder who will give out first – me or those yelling, with their fingers stuffed into their ears? But the camel onto whose back I have carefully pilled a mountain of straws looks strong; it’s legs are sturdy, and its face is blank. I’m impressed.

So I ask– when will the camel’s back finally break?

Now, tomorrow, the week after, or never? 🐪

I'm order to illicit a behavioral change, to change people's perception, you need to be very deliberate. What is the intended outcome? Who exactly are you trying to change? Yes you have plenty of information, but unless you are appealing to a very specific audience, your message will be lost in the information environment. A targeted information campaign, with effective message delivery, and the appropriate message will actually sway your specific audience. Shotgun blasts of information are too much for people to digest of they aren't invested.

Intended Outcome: ban male genital mutilation Intended audience: Politicians in positions to enact laws Method of delivery: medical professionals lambasting the practice, inciting the voting population to vote for protections/outlawing the practice

But this takes time. A similar method can be used to message on support of law changes to include rape of males.

Don't know exactly when the camel's back will break. It might take a few more generations eventually, but we can for sure hear and see the first cracks. See feminism and societal abuse towards men as this OceanGate submersible who has made the news a couple of weeks or so ago. You can mess with nature for a while and get lucky but at the end, you will face 'the eternal return of concreteness'. Feminism will, sooner or later, implode under the weight of its own bullshit. It has already started with the transgender movement.

all of this is just disgusting. i would also like to point out the fact that i actually wouldn't be the least bit surprised if men faced rape, domestic violence, etc. MORE than women. i mean, think about it. look how women treat men. look how women GET AWAY WITH treating men. look how acceptable it apparently is.

on top of that, the big factor in this hypothesis is this: when a WOMAN comes out and says "oh i was abused or raped" or whatever the fuck, with absolutely NO evidence whatsoever, and it just doesn't make sense AT ALL, everyone still believes her, and the man's life is ruined. when a MAN comes out and says the SAME THING, but WITH MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE, the woman faces no consequences, he is made fun of, bullied, mocked, his life is ruined, and the woman gets away with it. because of this... i'm sure a LARGE majority of men who go through this are too afraid to report it.

I'm convinced society has be re-engineered to make women's lives as comfortable and easy as possible. Wonder who's doing all the dangerous and dirty work and dying for their country then? Try building a company that actually makes or does something out of 100% "girl bosses" in luxurious corner offices - see how many widgets actually get made.

But that's a taboo thing to say, like it's taboo to say "Kim Jong-Un is a piece of shit" in North Korea. That's what we're fighting against, a punishable taboo against speaking out.

Until then, make sure you have your own money and your own home, and don't be friends with women at work. Speak to them as little as possible without drawing attention to that. NEVER go to a female therapist about your problems - she'll take your money and tell you to "man up and stop raaping!"

I'm gonna mention the elephant in the room here, one of the main reasons why the men's rights movement has achieved so little and its concerns fall into deaf ears compared to other social movements is the fact that it's so peaceful in its protesting.

Bear in mind, I am not advocating for violent protests, as I do not support those regardless of cause. Yet the fact is, they work. And few social movements have gotten far without those.

Feminism started extremely violent with bombings and other acts of domestic terrorism.

The topic of police violence against African Americans was a discussed one for decades, but it only really took the media by storm in the last decade (especially since 2020 and the George Floyd protests) after protests caused several deaths and over 2 billion in losses.

In France, the yellow vest protests wreaked havoc across the country, but that's what worked.

We have never seen such reactions from the MRM (which is ironic, since they're more often painted as "violent" by the media than groups that engage in actual violence). And while some results have been obtained without resorting to such extreme measures, the fact is that a peaceful stance often means slow progress, if any.

There have been very well-intentioned movements that even got massive demonstrations worldwide, like the "Occupy Wall Street" movement, that have stayed peaceful and in the end never achieved any actual change.

It's not about violence being a good way to convene a message, which it clearly is not, it's about people in general being too self-centered and/or apathetic to take a serious stance against an issue until the consequences are knocking at their door. For some reason people tend to only react to a problem once "shit's on fire".

This is why even though the gender gap is several times higher than the racial gap when it comes to police violence and killings (even more so when proportional to violent crime per capita, which is often used as an argument to dismiss male victims), the topic of discrimination against African Americans has been a major one for years while the topic of discrimination against men is entirely absent.

I've heard people say that the reason is that men have never had a "George Floyd situation", in the sense that blatant killing of innocent men has never been caught on camera in such a dramatic way, however that is entirely false (warning: graphic video!)

When Ryan Whitaker got shot at point blank by police after a false domestic violence report, the entire thing was filmed: him being shot at point blank while kneeling down to surrender to police, his grieving girlfriend crying and shouting that "they were only playing video games", the entire thing. However, there were never mass riots by men in the name of Ryan Whitaker. Therefore the topic remained absent from public discussion and the officers in question suffered no repercussions.

Again, I'm not saying violence is the way to create change. I have condemned it when used by other groups. I have condemned BLM, the Yellow Vests and other groups for the use of violence. I would be a hypocrite if I stated that it's ok as a means to defend men's rights.

However, both history and current events show us that social activism that's adamant on remaining peaceful has a much tougher job creating any actual change, and takes a much longer time doing so. We shouldn't be too surprised for not being the exception.

Obviously there are many other factors at play (such as the media's constant bombarding of articles against men's rights and demonizing the topic altogether), but then again so did other movements in the past which did succeed, like the civil rights movement. The fact remains that a peaceful movement has no choice but to be a very patient one.

I think you are doing incredible work raising awareness and being a voice of reason within the whole community. If there were one person I would be happy to say is the face of male advocacy, it would be you. So please, keep up the good work!

I think that people react more strongly to individual stories, than to statistics, so that may be a way to try and grow if you feel things are stagnating. Governments can/should create policy based on those objective group trends to make the world a more fair and equal place for everyone, but without public support they just do the opposite because that gets them elected. Putting a human story to each tragedy – so that it is less overwhelming – could help create sympathy and also make people feel like change is possible.

In the near future, it could be that some narrative catches the zeitgeist in an organic way, and then all these supporting arguments will suddenly snap into place, and things will change for the better for men. However, if that doesn't happen, then be sure that things will fix themselves eventually, because men aren't stupid. They see what is happening to their fathers, brothers, male friends/coworkers, etc, and eventually they stop wanting to support the system that does not respect or care about them in turn. This happens in various ways. Some just stop playing the game, while others go somewhere else where the laws and attitudes are more fair. Whatever way it manifests, the "brain drain" is a huge and growing problem in many countries. As men become viewed more and more as "born criminals", the pillars that hold up that civilization and make it function will collapse. It is simple mathematics, and we are seeing the beginnings of decay already and it's not pretty.

I don't think it'll break. Women are just focusing on being more manipulative these days. I'm sick of all this shit. I'm 15 and a few months ago a girl who's technically older than me slapped my ass. People laughed 🤡. So i DIDN'T hit back because i would kicked from the school in that week. Our physics teacher gives better grades to girls in the class (we got 2 grades which comes from exams and 2 which the teachers give by just themselves). My only advantage in my 15 years life is that my parents let me stay out up to 10 PM while my elder sisters can't. Its still sad this advantage comes because of they don't care much about me.

This society already made me feel pain, i learnt many things which i shouldn't in that young age. I'm sick of women. I tried, i gave them much much & much chances. All of the girls i talked (just friends no gf), they never thought about their equality shit when i told them how my family treats much better to my sisters because of they're a girl and just said things like "could they adopt me/i would like to be in that family" as jokes. None of them told me that its not fair.

That's it, I hate women. Unlike others, i thought love was true and it exists. Now I'm sure it doesn't. All the families are happy if the husband got money. I'll never have a girlfriend, I'll never marry. I hate them all.

Forced to penetrate offences carry the same maximum punishment as rape.

I don't think logic and reason should be abandoned - not at all, critical thinking is precious, obviously. (Not that anyone's suggesting it, but insofar as the rest of my comment:)

But I think, for the people on the other side of the fence, it's been usurped by another style of thinking. Where the truth is found by stories and things that get repeated, cliches, the way people feel etc. If they can find stats or facts to back those things up, that's a bonus. But really that's secondary.

So, it's very difficult to convince people who think like that using traditional ways of getting at the truth (statistics, logic, reason etc) because those things are suspect. I think this is part of the problem. They can establish something as a fact or reality, even if all the evidence goes against it. And not see that as a contradiction because (unless the stats tell the right story) they're being used to oppress, so they can't be true.

Sounds extreme, but I think that applies for a lot of people. I don't know how you're supposed to meet anywhere, with that. But that doesn't mean you stop trying either (not to sound too negative!).

Here is a thought I had that I’ll throw out there.

When bombarded with negativity in a relationship a frequent tactic men use is to shut down and stonewall. One source I found said 85% have done this at some point. I certainly have. Every guy I’ve talked to enough to know has done it at some point.

On the wider scale, could a man deal with feminist cultural negativity in a similar way? Many guys on this sub will make comments like “don’t get married”, “don’t have kids”, “go your own way”. These could be due to completely rational evaluation of risks, limitations on ability to mitigate risks, diminished rewards, etc. or could it in part be a reaction similar to a reaction of shutting down or stonewalling in a relationship?

I’m no expert in couples counseling but to get stonewalling to end, it seems to usually require the other side to be willing to be rational and make sure criticism is limited and constructive [edit] and stop gaslighting.

Come to the EU, the nonsense happening in the US and Canada is not happening in the EU. More countries in the EU are leaning right now than we have seen in a long time, radical leftism can't dominate the media here. Plus, your political views won't get you labeled as a fascist if they are anything else than left. Politics are a completely personal matter and are (if discussed) usually only discussed between friends or family. Labeling people for their political views (if not too radical or exaggerated) is looked down upon here, unless you can give a solid argument of course.

False SA accusations also don't get very far where I live (NL) since actual hard evidence is needed. It is uncommon here to lose your job or future chances to a false accusation, it won't happen if you're innocent.

If I look at the posts here too much I start to feel a little depressed, it really had me wondering how this could be changed. I thought about how people often migrate in times of hardship, be it due to hunger, thirst, war or a change in politics. If I was living in an epicenter of a toxic political/ideological mess which wears my mental health down every day, I would most certainly move somewhere better or at least find a way to not be exposed to it.

Horrible things happen to me daily, we don't need sensationalism mixed with fraudulence to argue that. This sub is nothing more than antiwoman and transphobic from what I can see. Which sucks, because there are legitimate issues that need to change but with the attitudes I see in here it's no wonder they aren't taken seriously. You could all do with some debate coaching and, if men ever got lucky enough for someone to care, some media coaching.

I can see a rep from the Men's Rights movement on television going about as well as when the person from antiwork going in television.
