lol…have you been here long? Divorced men, men that got cheated on, men who have always been unsuccessful, late in life virgins, …..yeah…they have emotional baggage, some way more than most.

Then from a practical point of view, they often have literal baggage. Like kids, weekend custody (which sucks if you work a 9 to 5 and are dating them) child support payments, exes

Just like everything else, you factor in a whole person when you decide if you want to date them.

EVERYONE at any age has baggage. So many people have childhood trauma, that's baggage right there. I think once you are an adult most have had a chance to work through that baggage.

To me it's not about trying to find someone who never experienced any bad things in life. It's about finding someone who already figured out the tools to go through difficult stuff.

Older virgins definitely do. Other men? I don't know, they are just normal, with experience. I don't expect men to deal with women and come so bitter that i'll have to deal with it. On the other hand men who don't have women in their life are more bitter than lemons in kitchen. Sorry not sorry.

Of course. Children from previous/multiple marriages or multiple women. Child support payments/alimony. Poor health like obesity/diabetes/heart disease (more common in men aged 35-45 than you'd expect), entitlement rooted in age & gender (thinking they deserve more control or power than has been earned), sexual stagnation paired with erectile dysfunction, past relationship trauma (very common in divorced men).The list goes on.

Most of the baggage men have is harder to hide (like a criminal record or drug addiction). But I did know 1 guy who basically was the local gigolo and it absolutely caused issues when he started trying to date seriously but wanted to be open and honest. Men can have baggage, most just never have the opportunity to create the kind of baggage women can.
