Note that this thread is not strictly a jab at TBP. There are plenty of BP people, I think, who are as disgusted with SJWs and radfems as the rest of us.

My purpose in writing this is to simply, concisely, and concretely, put to words my problem with radical feminism, and its retarded angsty offshoot, social justice.

It's the double standards.

I will give some examples, contrasting "standard morality"... Ie, the type of morality used by most humans throughout most of the modern western world... With "sjw morality", the type increasingly used by radical leftists, and which is aptly summarized by the phrase "no wrong tactics, only wrong targets."

Standard morality: it is always wrong to mistreat another person.

Sjw morality: it is only wrong to mistreat another person if they are less privileged than you. That's why it's "impossible to be sexist against men" or "impossible to be racist against white people".

Standard morality: suffering is bad regardless of who is suffering.

Sjw morality: suffering is irrelevant if it involves people more privileged than me. When men complain about male disposability, uneven outcomes in family court, domestic violence, and rape, male circumcision, male suicide, etc etc, the correct response is to dismiss and mock the complainants. "MRAs are just misogynists, look at all those white male tears, poor you!"

Standard morality: a victim is a victim regardless of who they are.

Sjw morality: a victim is only a victim if they resemble me. A guy in prison doesn't resemble me, as his life is different than mine. Therefore male prison rape doesn't count, and women are the primary victims of rape.

Standard morality: equality means fighting for equal treatment and standards for everyone.

Sjw morality: equality is only desirable where it doesn't inconvenience me. If equality would mean a negative outcome for me, then the standards should be changed or lowered until equality would not inconvenience me.

Example: Men have lots of top jobs and positions? Women should too. Men have the most dangerous, death inflicting jobs? We should uh... Fight to make workplaces more safe for all.

Standard morality: if one race/gender is permitted to do something, other races/gender should have the same freedom.

Sjw morality: privileged groups need to have their freedoms limited. White pride/power movements, the mens rights movement, European nativist movements, etc. are not ok, have no just cause for existence and and should not exist.

I'll leave it at that for now.

Here's the thing. I was taught that double standards were wrong. I do not like them, at a gut, instinctive level. I perceive them to be grossly unfair to individuals, the essence of sexism, racism and other forms of discrimination, and a factor correlated with widespread selfishness, injustice, and a persistent and overall increase in suffering.

And yet, double standards are proliferating in the leftist sphere at an alarming rate. Everything seems to be fair game so long as cishet white dudes are the targets... Sometimes, this is called "punching up."

To use a metaphor here though, the origins of racism/sexism are Euros/men "punching down", ie, creating double standard that benefit themselves. They were convinced not do so by generations of suffragettes and civil rights leaders saying that these double standards were wrong. That the act of discriminating based on sex or race was wrong. But now a few generations later, that initial message seems to have been lost.

What does it say about radical feminism/social justice, that they have picked up the weapons of their oppressors right after convincing us to throw them down?
