Prince was short, maybe 5 foot two? Still slayed. He had been teased when in high school and it never held him back. Yeah I know I have used this example before.

Okay you’re using celebrities who not only have status, but are projected as tall on screen to seem taller as examples. For god’s sake, in Interview with a Vampire, they made Brad Pitt walk in a trench to see the same height as Tom Cruise, because Tom Cruise felt he was too famous to be obscured by Brad Pitt’s height. Hell even when women meet these celebs, some of the magic is gone when they realize how short they are IRL.

These celebs are always projected as tall or at least average height, the only exceptions are Danny Devito and Peter Dinklage because no amount of trick camera work will make him look tall, and Kevin Hart who has his height made fun of in almost every movie. Celebs are not normal people, it’s not doubt they can get laid, pretending that’s the same effect can work for your non famous man is such BS. “jUsT bE A FAmouS pERson BRo”

If he’s 5’8”- those girls have to be 6’. Sorta seems like they are insecure about being “too tall” and mocking him in self defense. Still not very kind but people are pretty ruthless with actors especially celebs (trust me, he’s fine.)

Celebrities and actors are notoriously short. Even just in LA, people are SMALL. My husband is 6’4” and isn’t that much of an attention grabber in the Midwest but looks like an actual giant here. No idea why the industry skews to smaller people but that’s the reality.

yes but it can work in the other direction too. chicks are terrible at visually estimating height. if a chick digs a guy AND he is taller than her, she will usually assume he is taller than he is.

the thing that's really fucking him up here isn't his absolute height, it's because it looks like he is about 6 inches shorter than these chicks in that pic. IRL even short manlet dudes are still usually taller than most women, so it makes him look like a literal midget.

I was shocked to find out that this is considered short but then I remembered that 5'10 means he's really 5'7.
