tl;dr: The problem most men face (scarcity) is not a result of entitlement or high standards, but a lack of entitlement, a lack of standards.

Here's my story:

I'm a short, bald, and have an average-slightly ugly face. When I struggled with women, I felt desperate, I felt that I had to stay in my league (and my league was very low), and that I should be happy to get ANY women. I talked to fat women, ugly women, and was usually rejected.

A few years later when I took a vacation in Europe, I ended up visiting very beautiful escorts, lost my virginity, and went crazy. I traveled through Europe for 60 days and spent about $9,000 on escorts; probably sleeping with 50 women or so. The women I slept with where astoundingly beautiful; they legitimately looked like models. Somewhere along the line, I was no longer intimidated by pretty women. After sleeping with so many of them, they're no longer on a pedestal. I still want to fuck them, but I'm not nervous or worried about talking to them.

Whereas before, I used to feel like I was too ugly for beautiful women, right now I feel entitled to them. Here is my mindset right now: "I'm 28 years old and my life is ending one second at a time. I deserve what I want and I won't settle for anything less."

Practical:

I'm currently living in a large city in the U.S. I'm in better shape, I dress well, and am relatively happy. I speak to roughly 110 (sometimes more, sometimes less) women a week. I only approach women I'm ATTRACTED to. Usually 7-9s. I get rejected most of the time. Out of 100 women I talk to, I'll get 6-8 numbers. Out of those numbers I'll get 1 date (maybe 2). And my dates are much more successful, i think like 15% of dates lead to sex and short relationships.

Takeaways

All it takes one. What do you call a soldier who dodges 98% of bullets? Dead. There is nothing special about me. I'm a relatively ugly dude sleeping with beautiful women. What's the catch? I'll talk to roughly 400 women a month and sleep with 1 of them. These are horrible statistics, but all it takes is one. It takes one bullet to end a life; doesn't matter how many have been fired. And it takes one yes to meet a girl that I can sleep with and date for a few months.

Personality wise, I'm confident, straightforward, and easygoing. I'm not particularly charismatic. But, I'm not nervous around these women, I don't put up with any poor behavior, and I don't worry about rejection. This was hard as hell to get started, but after 8months of doing this, I've slept with 7 women, and have 2 ongoing FWBs.

Conclusion

Whatever you want, don't take no for answer. Entitlement is a good thing. If you feel that you deserve something, that you absolutely should have it, then you'll go out and get it. If men were more entitled, they'd talk to more women, face rejection, and eventually find success.
