For example, let's say that theoretically I refuse to believe that women still do more domestic labour in heterosexual relationships today. I would just say that's radicalized online propaganda or something. Like, I don't doubt it happens on an individual level, just like how the opposite happens too (the man doing more domestic labour) and I do think it's shitty, but I have no reason to believe it's a gendered societal issue. In the meanwhile, personally, fairness in domestic labour IS important to me and I would cooperate with a woman, be her equal in this regard.

Let's say I also think women being afraid of harassment and creeps is waaaay overblown. In the meanwhile, I do find it upsetting when in a rare, individual case a man harasses a woman and I would stand up against individual cases of that happening, just like how I would stand up against individual cases of women harassing men.

So does it matter what a man thinks of these topics, whether he considers these things to be gendered societal issues, if at the same time he himself IS fair and reasonable in his personal life? Why/why not?
