At the end of the day, almost every aspect of your life is indirectly controlled by someone else's decisions. Unless you are a self sufficient hermit of some kind, most of your daily needs are fulfilled by other people who decide to give you attention/time/money/resources. You can't eat unless someone else decides to give you the crops or livestock they raised, and someone else decides to package and ship it, and someone else decides to prepare and give it to you, etc. You might pay them all for these privileges, but you still need them, hence, they are still in control and still the deciders... at least by your logic.

You do all this, and nevertheless, you probably still feel in control. Because you have money. Money means that no one individual has control over you, because you can just take your money elsewhere and do business somewhere else. There will almost always be someone there to sell you what you need. So in fact, you do have control. Your needs will always be fulfilled to whatever extent you wish, so long as you make the requisite effort.

Similarly, being a high value man enables you to get pussy pretty reliably. It puts you in control, if not over individual women, then at least over whether your needs will be fulfilled.

I believe in everyone having control over their own lives and I believe we all have this control if we choose to exercise it. This why I follow the philosophy of Anton LaVey.

As far as TRP I agree that their goal seems to be to control their destiny in terms of relations with women. But the kind of shit on their subreddit is still often either dickish (even the TRPers on here will often admit the subreddit is full of morons) or simply counterintiutive. For example doing the whole dread game thing will have the opposite effect you desire since it will reduce your SO's trust in you.

On the other hand, there are pearls of wisdom to be found. Believing in yourself and your ability to control your own life is definitely a positive message and it can be applied to relationships and sex. I just think there are better ways of getting that message than reading TRP. Check out the Satanic Bible, I think it would align a lot with what anyone who sees control of their own life as their main goal believes in already.

For example:

The Satanist realizes that man, and the action and reaction of the universe, is responsible for everything, and doesn't mislead himself into thinking that someone cares.

And as far as sex goes:

Satanism encourages any form of sexual expression you may desire, so long as it hurts no one else. If all parties involved are mature adults who willingly take full responsibility for their actions and voluntarily engage in a given form of sexual expression - even if it is generally considered taboo - then there is no reason for them to repress their sexual inclinations.

So I guess you're so unfamiliar with TRP that the maxim "women are the gatekeepers of sex, men are the gatekeepers of commitment" doesn't ring a bell. A doy, women control access to sex, men expend a lot of effort gaining access to it

Of course men aren't remotely powerless except by choice, they could just beat them and rape them at gunpoint, en masse. Ask yourself instead the more interesting question of why they choose game, pua and trp instead and what would happen if most of them start availing themselves of the other option

This is simply not true. I'm going to go ahead and be that douchebag. There are multiple women currently bidding for my attention on a daily/weekly basis, and I'm choosing which ones I give my attention to, not the other way around. One specific girl has asked me to sleep over twice, and I've rejected her offers each time.

the problem is you're not thinking about population, but at a micro level: the individual. if I'm homeless, stinky, and bearded. is it possible to get laid? of course. it's up to a single woman to say yes to me but chances of that happening with the AVERAGE woman is so minuscule it's almost a 100% no.

if I clean up, get a job and improve myself (education, 6 pack, nice race car I've wanted) because I want to, yet in parallel my SMV increases and my chances of getting laid exponentially grows INDEPENDENTLY. The AVERAGE woman in a population will desire me more (meaning more yes's, less no's). it doesn't MATTER if one individual woman says no. I'm not out to change one woman's mind.

I'm out to increase a probability. why so women suck at math so much lol (that last part is cheek in tongue, don't freak out)

You are missing a part of the philosophy which is accepting that you can't control female desire which is why you should be quick to abandon prospects or relationships that won't go anywhere. Plate spinning is in part accepting that no matter what you do some women will lose interest in you and when you notice it you drop the plate if it's too much effort.
