Most people aren't mad at a guy who's sad.

Most people are mad at a guy or girl who throws massive hissy fits, get entitled, and finger points all their issues on other people.

Also, what a man is sad about is very important.

Is he sad about his dog of 10 years dying? Or is he sad he opened the door for a hot girl and she would not fuck him? Big difference in how someone will react.

Most importantly, how is the guy treating other people? Is he showing compassion to other people or does he think he deserves a pity party and no one else?

Nunance matters. Context matters. That's why r/quityourbullshit is a thing. Because alot of people dont want to give out the full story.

Bonus Question: How much emotional labor is he causing loved ones? Before someone gets pissy, men can do emotional labor. Its not fair to have someone deal with the entire weight of his problems while that person has their own problems to deal with.
