Why are TBPers posting selfies?

Someone from TRP made a bet that they would pay 3mo of reddit gold and some other thing I forget if there was actually an attractive TBPer. There is a post of it somewhere on TBP front page unless they removed it. Anyway a guy posted pics and the TRPer deleted their account.

On a related note, why do we have a tendency to assume that our "enemies" are ugly? Some TRPers are always talking about how TBPers are fat uggly feminazis, while some TBPers are always talking about how TRPers are uggly fedora-wearing neck beards. Why does this dynamic exist? What purpose does it fulfill?

The two subs despise each other, and well, such insults are par for the course in such a dynamic.

And some rpers hand wave away the self-proclaimed success of certain bp individuals with "tall, white, attractive male; less need for game or attention to detail".

I actually dont see bpers make as many assumptions about rpers. Some of them do make the assumption that most rpers are also white, racist, and homophobic. I think that may be because some SJWs like to package those adjectives together alongside CIS and privileged though.

I think I actually kicked off the whole thing. I did it because there was someone who got into an argument on the red pill subreddit and someone dug up photos of him and posted them to r/alreadyred calling him the face of blue pill. I had a picture of me in my kilt that I like so I decided to post it as a show of solidarity.

Can I just say I'm a hard-core bluepiller, and even I think it's stupid? Dont sink to that level. TRP is going to find an excuse to call you ugly no matter what, dont give them that fuel.

It serves no useful purpose, but it's the easiest way to dismiss someone's opinions about sex and relationships.

The purpose is an ego boost and validation of your own worldview.

Once in a blue moon you'll see the opposite. Red pillers who accuse blue pillers of being naturally attractive people who are bullying others for not being successful. Blue pillers going "lol he thinks these women enjoy his bullshit and aren't just tolerating it because he's good looking".

Well, going through all of those TBP selfies, I'll be the first to admit it completely blew away my assumptions about the kind of people that post in TBP.

Reading the comments in TBP, and considering the fact it was created in opposition to TRP - seemingly mostly younger guys, like high school age - and the type of snarky "leet" type humor TBP is known for ...

I was shocked to find most TBP people are adults.

I had assumed they were high schoolers.
