For women who do that, she may essentially be applying female social dynamics to men. Rarely have I had to ask or tell another woman why she's/I'm upset. Women who struggle with that to the extent that men can will often be ostracized socially by other women. My own BF is very close with the women in his family and has always had a lot of female friends, so he just gets it. Hell he's brought up something that happened and apologized for it before I even realized it was bothering me.

Asking someone whats bothering them isn't weak, and it doesnt mean you have to fawn and apologize and appease them. If someone is angry let them know you are free to talk about it when they are ready. Sometimes emotion makes it hard for people to communicate. That doesn't give them license to walk all over you or be cryptic or mean or aggressive, but sticking with someone through their emotion and not running away as soon as theres conflict is part of a relationship I think. Now if theyre just being a total asshole then yea thats on them and you don't need to stick around and be treated badly. Tell them thats not acceptable and go do your thing til they get their head right. Some people never learned the right way to express their frustrations.

When I’ve gotten this way with a guy, I’ve already informed or asked to do/not to do something multiple times and he has done the exact opposite, especially if it’s knowingly does the opposite.

I think women tend to have high emotional/social intelligence plus they’re raised to be very attentive to the emotions of others, as a little girl it’s basically seen as your responsibility to ensure the happiness of those around you. At least in my experience, that was heavily expected of me. I think when a lot of women see a man who doesn’t pick up on emotional cues- they read it as “he knows, but he doesn’t care that I’m upset.” To them, such cues seem too obvious to miss, but men and women are just different, whether it’s nature or nurture.

Well that sounds toxic. If you don't want to ask or talk about it the assumption would be that you know rather than wanting to just ignore someone who's angry at you and not even caring why they feel that way. How would you like it if you were visibly upset and your partner didn't care why and instead left the house and ignored you?

It has become a thing where its something i cannot tolerate, and will tell any future girl about this behaviour.

This is something all men and women love. Please compare me to your ex and complain about their behavior while you continued to stay with them. Nothing else says strong independent partner like that. 🙄
