I'm an Uber driver. I knew exactly what she was the second the ride was canceled. She's a ride High Jacker. She never called for a ride, someone else did and she hopped in acting like she was the pick up.

Clue #1 for ALL DRIVERS.

If a rider gets in and immediately changes the destination don't move. Have them go on the app and tell them to change destination. If the don't or refuse or offer cash kick their ass out they are High Jackers.

She didn't cancel the ride, the true rider did when they saw the trip start and they weren't in the car. Here's another trick people use when they don't want to pay surge prices. They pick an area close to where they are outside the surge area and send you there.

The instant you get to the fake spot they call you and ask where you are. You tell them right where they sent you, Oh no, no, no I'm at 123 main street (In the middle of a surge area), come get me. DON'T.

They will then tell YOU to cancel the ride (so they don't have to pay the cancellation fee). DON'T. Hang up on them and wait for the 5 minute window to expire then cancel them as no shows, You get the no show fee they have to pay for. Here's something I've been forced to do a couple of times. You get a request in a surge area. You arrive but find the pick up point is at a location you can't get close enough to too start the wait clock.

You call the rider but they REFUSE to answer no matter how many times you call. There never was a ride. Some asshole wanted to fuck you over for a laugh. You have two choices. Cancel the ride and you get nothing and a cancellation on your record OR Start the trip and deliver them in spirit.

I had one that I drove 6 miles to pick up. The pick up point was the middle of a lake. They refused to answer after five calls and 10 minutes waiting. I started the trip. The trip length was 2.5 miles. I changed their destination back to my original starting point 6 miles. I got a $26 payout. I'll bet they weren't laughing when they got the bill. There are always scammers out there trying to screw you over.

I had another like this one who actually was the rider. It was a 15 mile trip at 2.3 surge after 3.5 miles she canceled the trip. Fortunately for me but VERY unfortunately for her we were in the middle of nowhere, O-dark-thirty in the morning and snowing. Have a nice walk. I dumped her ass off right there. She tried to re book the ride but it was standard fare by then. No way baby. Out you go.

She threatened to give me a bad rating.

Jokes on her you can't rate the driver if you cancel. LMFAO.
