If I do I'll get enraged at the fact my ex having had an affair, wanting out despite my pleas that our very young kids deserved her honest effort to try to save the family and in return she got the kids, the house and the money. I got painful goodbyes on Wednesday nights and every other weekend and had to go live in a silent, tiny condo and not the $450K house we bought two years before the divorce. I got to drop the kids off and hear them cry, beg and plead "why dont you live with us anymore?" and I refused to tell them the truth and have them not believe in their Mom. Most painful experiences of my life.

All the daily joys I've never gotten to experience due to her selfishness . . . it's all I can do not to think about it and focus on the fact she is a rock-solid, borderline great Mom to the kids.

The friggin balls to call this 50-50 is infuriating.

I guess I have my own pussypassdenied related story to share.

My ex used our kids as a custodial volley ball filing three false protective orders when she got upset at me. Basically, she punished me for breaking up with her and her instrument of punishment was withholding the kids.

Long story made short, all three protective orders were dismissed, I got married to a woman who took them in as her own and legally adopted them, and I got full custody and the bitch hasn’t seen them since June 30, 2010. But it’s all good because the children do not remember her (they were both less than two years old) and think of my wife as their biological mom.

Here is the thing... I think - in GENERAL m, not your second cousin thrice removed whose first exwife is a serial killer, not in that case... in GENERAL - kids are better off with their Mom.

Why? Simple: on average women are “better” not as extreme as men (Jordan Peterson anyone?). Men are more present on tbe worst and best side of most spectrums.
