This is a dumpster fire of a thread. Living in Seattle as well as watching the actual footage, there was a group of protestors clearly together on the i5 and there were cars parked so anybody driving the wrong way with at least half a brain would think "yeah I should slow down". This also was basically a few blocks away from where the whole CHAZ/CHOP area was.

Now given that info I likely don't think they were protesting simply because it doesn't make sense to do that. I have a suspicion they might have been launching fireworks or something cause fireworks have been going off around 2am for the past couple days.
