We've not tried it before, but next week we're doing an escape room, which is sort of like a puzzle thing where you're locked in and work together to escape!

My favorite is traveling abroad with him. His coolness under pressure is reassuring and I always feel safe no matter where we are. I am getting better at understanding what he means just with body language. It inspires trust, deference and stfu when dealing with sticky situations. We have gotten closer together through every mind-blowing experience. It literally feels like we are the only people in the world when we cannot understand anything or anyone.

My second favorite is hanging out at parks, people watching, being aware of our surroundings and getting lost in wormholes of ideas inspired by the surroundings.

His second favorite likely is concerts and nightlife. The rules of conduct are different at night and I always get to meet a new side of him. There is always crazy funny stories that come of it and we laugh about it for days after.

Pick Your Own berries/apples/etc. farms! It's a great way to be outside, laugh together and bring home some delicious fresh produce.

Let him teach you something! Do something he is knowledgeable about. If he likes a certain sport, go to a game together. Let him show you his favorite hiking spot or how to rotate tires (or whatever he can be your expert for.) My husband seems to love sharing things he likes with me, even more so when he can relate is own best "tips and tricks". Also, you never know when that crabbing knowledge may help you out!

Sit at the bar and order lots of courses of food. Split plates. Share food. Something about sitting side by side means less distractions. Cell phones don't seem to come out as much. More physical flirting, too

Go to a dance lesson (group) together and learn how to dance as partners. It's a beautiful skill to have.

SO and I like to be explorative in our own city, and try new restaurants that we never gone to. Because its summer, we like roaming around downtown, just enjoying eachother and then hunting for a place to eat with a patio of some sort to have dinner and drinks and people watch.

My favourite date was when we went to this indian fusion type restaurant that has these really interesting twists on traditional indian cuisine. We had this coconut curry "poutine" thing that was sooo good! We still talk about that now.

Fiance and I are doing warrior dash when it comes to our town. I'm super pumped about it!

I saw this idea, but haven't tried it. You go to a thrift store and each pick out a goofy/uncoordinated/dated/etc. outfit for the other person to wear, then you go out to dinner :D It sounds really fun, and I'd love to try it!

One fun thing we haven't done in a while is geocaching, where you are given GPS coordinates and you have to find a hidden cache. It's a good cheap date.

We also like to go hiking and to stop on diners en route. Split sweet and savory for brunch.

Sometimes we do game nights or murder mystery parties with friends, which is also a great time.

We're planning a white water rafting trip soon.

Someone else mentioned him teaching me things. Its true... we go thrifting, and have completely redone my wardrobe. He taught me how to work out, and how ro adapt the routine to heal my injuries. He's teaching me how to move with social grace, so whenever we go out, whether it's with friends or a new venue, it's a play ground to observe and try out my new skills.... all while molding me into the woman he sees in me, and wants to be his partner.

Now that I've lost weight, we're going to start doing acrobatics. Acroyoga, but also me standing on his shoulders, and things that opens up. He already has me sit on his back, and squats me. The trust and connection that comes from this is amazing!
