Valentine's Day!

My SO is really into traditions. So, we've been going to the same restaurant every year for five years for Valentine's Day and we spend the entire time reminiscing on our previous Valentine's Days.

For every major holiday/event (Valentine's Day included), I also buy a dozen flowers then press one of those flowers in a book. Then I write a short description of what the day was like and a small reflection on our relationship. My SO isn't so good with remembering things so he really appreciates stuff like that that jogs his memory.

If you can't find an egg mold but you have a cookie cutter, take a piece of bread (buttered on both sides) and cut out a heart shape in the middle. Put the holey piece in a hot pan and crack the egg in the middle. Fry the heart piece too if your husband likes dipping toast in his fried eggs.

we like to make a whole weekend out of it. We exchanged gifts Friday night and I cooked. We've been avoiding alcohol to hit some body goals but we had a bottle of wine to splurge. Tonight he cooked scallops and lobster (it's his specialty!) and had champagne. I really like to wrap his holiday gifts handsomely, using guy colors like black paper with red ribbon. It makes him feel special and I love that!! On actual Valentine's Day (a busy work day) I will probably make some red cauliflower 'mashed potatoes' and do something else cute, like paper napkins and a candle. This weekend got a little ruined otherwise because we are recovering from colds...

I don't know yet, my SO won't tell me any of his plans! I just have to turn up somewhere and be pretty :)

I do have a heartfelt card and something handmade for him, it took me a few days.

All I know for now is that I changed my shift at work to finish earlier. I'm taking care of being pretty (nails done, will dye hair and wax my face on monday) and that's pretty much it.

We agreed for dinner. Now we'll see :)

I bought a couple of tickets for a painting workshop for my SO, and he's picking up a picnic dinner and wine for us to eat and drink while there. Other than that, I got some new lingerie from VS for that night 😸

i'm not much into valentines day, but he wants to celebrate it anyway and has got a picnic planned for us. i'm thinking i'll make some nice small cheesecakes to take along.

it's our anniversary a few days later, so we'll be going out of town for a long weekend. i've bought us tickets to go see Patti Smith (he's a huge fan) and an aerobatics lesson (he flies but has never done the fun upsidedowny stuff).

neither of us are into "stuff" and he gets himself anything he needs, so i think in our case experiences and special dates are far more appropriate.

oh, i'm also going out shopping for new lingerie tomorrow too :)

Our anniversary is a week after Valentine's day so we don't usually participate, plus we're saving up for a house so we're being pretty strict with money. We'll do cards though

I think we do have plans to stay in and do some co-op gaming, plus I've hinted at him getting me some flowers the day after Valentine's day when they're cheaper :)

We don't do V day at all, in any shape or form, we're both totally derisive of it and hate consumerist stuff. But we'd never pee on anyone else's parade at all! I am however planning to buy a lot of half price V day decorations etc for our September wedding!

My husband isn't into celebrating Valentine's Day but we have a little joke we say for singles it's called Alentine's Ay because they aren't getting any V or D! :D

I love Valentine's day, and will take any excuse to get cheesy with decorations and crafts! I've made J a hand embroidered brain, bought him some truffles, and grabbed a Mexican chocolate stout beer. I'll probably make some black bean brownies or maybe cheesecake bites.

Don't know if he's doing anything for me, and I don't care!

I think Valentines Day is generally dumb and love should be celebrated every day. That being said, I don't mind it as an excuse to flex our budget a little bit doing something fun together or buying something maybe we usually wouldn't.

I don't care if R does anything for me. Again, it's not a crazy holiday in my world and I would probably be turned off if he ever went full beta about it like some men do. On the other hand I'm looking forward to doing something small but sweet for him. I bought a nice picture frame with our photo for him, and I want to take him to see the new John Wick movie since I know he liked the first one.

If those are the extent of our celebrations I would be a happy woman.

There is a super cool local chocolate shop nearby. I'm going to get him an assortment of weird chocolate (mushrooms, edible flowers, etc), a dozen roses, and some crafts made by our little ones and deliver it to him at work.

We just bought our first house and are moving in today, which means we'll wake up on Valentine's Day to our new home together. I am not planning anything special other than organizing our stuff and giggling with excitement.

I am so jealous you get to wear some nice lacey things this Vday. I may need to google how to do sex when I get home it feels like it has been so long ;*(

I told my fiance I snapped my Tiffany's necklace that I wear everyday for casual clothes. He saw an easy gift idea and ran with it. I ordered him a Seamless gift card.

I can't be home to drain his balls, but I can still help feed him this year lol.

Valentine's Day is a significant day for our relationship. I'm cooking an extra special meal, and making a point to let him know how thankful an appreciative I am of him and our relationship. I'm planning on some extra cuddles and some fun later in the evening ;)

We don't really make a big deal out of Valentine's Day but we do try to something nice to show our appreciation to one another.

I got my SO the game for honor because it came out today and he's been super excited for it for at least year now also we played the beta and loved it, I'm not the biggest fan of games but this and the witcher has rekindled my love of video games again! He's taking me out for dinner but he's keeping it a surprise where exactly were going all he's said is to dress up nice so I'm excited for that!
