Do you think it's okay to expect emotional support? Is it ever okay to ask for it directly?

I hate to sound entitled but I feel like I need my husband to be more emotionally supportive right now and I'm not sure how to deal with it.

Last month I lost a pregnancy at 17 weeks (baby had trisomy 18 which is incompatible with life). I'm not handling it very well. My husband isn't an emotionally expressive person and he isn't the type to offer a lot of emotional support. It makes him uncomfortable to see me crying and I try my best to handle it by myself but sometimes I can't help it and cry around him.

Given the circumstances I feel like it should be okay for me to expect a little more but I don't know if that's just me being selfish and entitled.

If it's okay- how do I ask or bring this up without sounding accusatory or demanding?

If not- how do I keep myself under control around him?

Our ages are 26 and 30 and we have been married for one year.
