Well, it is around that time of the year again where thousands of students across the country will be graduating college and heading out into the real world. A common complaint you will undoubtedly hear about life after college is how tough it is to make friends and date. This is a thread made for every single person in here with that worry and one that will undoubtedly fix that issue. It is going to be a long post so lets get right down to it.

It is ALL about your location, like that is at least 110% of it. See how I exaggerated there? I did it for a reason, because it everything, none of this works if you don't address that.

If you move to suburbia where most people are starting families, you will have a terrible social life.

If you move to a small town full of older people, you will have a terrible social life.

Think about your college days, if you wanted to have fun and enjoy "the college experience", you went to a school like Wisconsin or Arizona St, you didn't go to a commuter school or a school where guys outnumbered girls 2 to 1. You had the college experience by going to a "party school" or a big state school, the real world works the same exact way. In most situations you were not going to have the college experience at a commuter school just like in most situations, you won't be having fun in your 20s in suburbia.

Money matters a lot, just like it did in college.

What kinds of guys had the best social lives in college? Rich frat boys!

Being in a top frat required paying some serious dues and usually, school was not cheap. The poor guy working through college, well he did not have as much fun as the rich frat boy who didn't have to worry about it as much. Same with hot girls from rich families and most rich kids in college, they usually had a lot of the fun. These were the people that went to fancy spring breaks at nice beaches, summers in Europe, partied hard with other rich kids, and could enjoy this part of their life with ease. It is practically the same after college and much to your dismay, a lot of these rich kids actually got ahead in life, we'll talk about the Just World Fallacy in a future post.

But luckily, there are areas designed just for people like you and if you did things right in college, you will naturally end up there.

It is unavoidable, you simply move to a big city. If you did college right, you will work in a city like NYC or Chicago where the social scene is rich and lively. You also look into great cities for people in their 20s as well, cities like Austin and Minneapolis will come up often.

Whether it is parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan full of people in their 20s or parts of other prominent cities, you will have to look into this yourself but a good example is Wrigleyville in Chicago. The fact of the matter is people get married much later and want to live out the rest of their 20s having fun, working hard, and hooking up; certain parts of big cities are designed just for that. Apartments are designed for that, areas around the residence are designed for that, and so is the culture as a whole.

The reality of these areas is that they are packed with college graduates in their 20s who are looking to have fun. I lived in such an area shortly after college and it was full of women in their mid 20s from big name schools as well as some cool guys who did college right. Most were young, had money, wanted to have fun, and were looking to extend their youth into their 20s.

Many of these areas are often expensive, usually loaded with bars, and are the kinds of areas that will be loud on a Friday or Saturday night. Speaking of bars....

It's in the nightlife, just like your last two years of college, bonus points if you can land a side job there and can handle it.

In college, first two years were house parties but the last two years everyone headed out to bars.

The same nightlife way of life carries over on to the bars but you go to the younger bars, not the low key quiet older bars full of distinguished and wealthy older gentlemen. If you can land a job at the bars on the side, then it is pussy galore as well as access to some amazing parties that rival those in college.

All the cool kids in college from hot girls to fraternity guys head this route and much to the dismay of some neckbeards, these people actually landed nice paying jobs and party it up on the weekends. The partying does not end after college and in the right cities, it can be just as crazy.

Use hot girls as a litmus test.

Hot girls go to Coachella and fun festivals? Fun festivals are where the fun is at!

Hot girls tend to frequent bars in certain parts of a city? That is where the fun is at.

Hot girls are a perfect litmus test of value, fun, and importance.

In college, hot girls partied at frat houses of top fraternities which is ironically where the fun was at.

After college, hot girls tend to live in certain parts of big cites, those are usually the parts where the fun, parties, and social life are happening.

Hot girls also congregate to certain fun big cities like certain parts of NYC which are heaven on earth for a lot of younger guys who are luck enough to find work and eventually build their value there.

As one guy I knew put it, NYC in your 20s is like college except the girls are hotter and parties are better.

And obviously, you need value of your own.

No one wanted to be friends with the strange neckbeard in college.

No one wanted to hang out with the kind with a lack of social skills.

No one invited the low SMV guy to a nice party.

Same with life after college, except now the low SMV guy can cope and say "social life ends after college" while in reality, tons of fun is going on behind his back. The reality is he no longer has to see it like he did in college but tons of fun, hookups, and partying is going on behind his back on the weekends.

To all guys soon to graduate college and those in their 20s, you're welcome!
