I’m 38 and in my SMV prime based on Rollo’s SMV bell curve. Started lifting and stopped drinking over a year ago and I am in the best shape of my life. My wife is 40 years old and post-wall by a long shot: eats too much, drinks too much, smokes too much and is now 30 pounds overweight. She’s slowly let herself go the past 3-4 years. For years, I was Billy Beta and would beg for sex and do all the bullshit that makes me cringe in anger today. There are years past where I can count on one hand the amount of times we had sex. Sad, I know. My wife will probably always consider me as BB even though I’ve made Alpha strides since swallowing the red pill. Today, I’m getting tons of IOI’s from girls at the gym, at work, everywhere. Practicing game on 20-25 year olds (thanks Uncle Vasily) makes me realize I can make it out there on my own. My how the tables have turned. I’ve lost all interest in my wife but am reluctant to take a nuclear bomb to my family (kids involved). She has become much more open sexually and loving since my attention has shifted from her to my own mental point of origin. But I'm just not attracted any more. I don’t want to get caught cheating as this may further complicate things should I go the divorce route even though FL is a no fault state. Advice? Do I just rip off the band-aid and deal with divorce? If you’ve ever read Rollo’s Mid-Life Crisis/Epiphany that is me to a T. Your insight is appreciated.

alcohol is REALLY, REALLY messing my goals. I've been drinking bottles and bottles of beer and wine every day for 9 days straight, something that had never happened before. Too much parties and meeting with friends, and there's always drinking... How do you guys deal with these situations? Since I started lifting i've had this one coworker feeling my arms recently. She's not very attractive but the validation knowing other people are seeing results in me feels good. I read on TRP since a few months and try to internalize all the stuff. I go out and work on my social skills but i have a problem that annoys me: I seem to read too many articles and tend to forget most of the stuff. It goes like this: i read some theories, think about them and they make sense. I get motivation to try them out but the next day I already forgot about the details and so i just keep reading new TRP stuff. It seems like i never truly make progress with the internalization part. Dunno how to fix that ffs.

Also i save every worthy post or comment i read here "for later" but never ever read through them again, thered just so many interesting new posts here every day

I have a friend who's a drug addict. I am in recovery. I've been telling him to get the help he needs. He won't and I know no amount of words can make him do it if he doesn't want to do it himself. But I know he has potential and is going to wish he got clean sooner. I know I did. I give her the lecture but he lies and don't want to hear it. It makes me angry. I want my friend back. So I get mean. I tell him he's going to be a piece of shit living in his moms basement and he's 30. To get his fucking shit together. I want to make an impact. But all it does is cause him to run from me. Which I don't care bc I don't surround myself with people who use. But I do want the best.

Same with my buddy. He got a gf who used drugs. Told her to move in 3 weeks after they met. He was into RP with me. Make crazy improvements. Got a gf and went beta as fuck and back to drugs. Text me His life's all fucked up. But when I told him it wasn't a good idea he fought with me. Now I want to rub it in his face that he should have listened. Bc he was on the right track and fucked his life up. Now he can't get back on track.

TL:DR What I'm trying to say is Im the friend who tells you what you need to hear. Not what you want to hear. And when you don't listen I get angry and can dig under your skin. Especially if I was right in the end. Am I being too tough on them? How can I calm my anger when this stuff happens?

What is TRP's opinion on women in premed? At my university (I am in Canada), it seems (from the outside) to be that many women stick with one boyfriend who they met in first or second year. They get all their attention/validation/sex from him and don't really party it up as they are focused on school. If you know anything about premed and the journey to med school, it requires a great many sacrifices including sacrificing a social life.

Amongst premeds there is a concept of a 'premed wife' that sticks by you until a man gets into med school or the workforce, and they take care of each others needs while allowing eacb other to focus on studies 24/7. When the time comes, most of these couples break up. I missed out on that

I am in an LDR (over 1500+ miles, I moved to south Florida) for the past 4 months. Before I left we both agreed that she would move to me in June (due to her profession anything before that wasn't possible). June came and she didn't move out due to fear of risk, fear of the unknown and family opinion. Since my move she has been out to visit me 5 times ranging from 4 days-14 days and everything went great. It is now August, she has yet to move out and is citing "not feeling a sense of belonging" at the new location and has abandoned her past reasoning as to not moving out.

I have made it easy for her to make the transition (pay for the moving truck, drive down with her, not make her pay rent, only utilities so on and so forth until she has a full time job). I feel like this is only fair since she is moving for me and no other reason.

As I said, it is now August, her lease has ended and she moved back to her parents house "until I figure out what's going on." She won't give me a date for a decision (if she's moving out or not) let alone an actual date she would physically move. I have amplified dread game (asking her if we're still exclusive, how she feels about open relationships) to get her hamster rolling to pick a date. Yet she still refuses.

I understand redpills opinion on LDRs (all the hassle and no reward). I have been out on a handful of dates since moving (abundance mentality), I've made a great group of male friends and am keeping busy with work and hobbies.

My only other option with her is to go thermonuclear war and internally pick a date, and if she doesn't decide by then take the L and walk away.

My question(s) is: Are there any other tools that I'm not utilizing to lead her to pick a date? Is there another option beside nuclear war that I don't realize?

For me to move on with my life (with or without her) this needs to be settled.

Here's the deal... I was with a girl I cared deeply about for 3 years. She was everything I wanted in a girlfriend. Or so I thought. I knew I could trust her and that was most important.

There was just no passion. I never experienced that "spark" with her. Kissing her incited nothing in me. And she's gorgeous. It just wasn't there for me. This could be for a number of reasons but to keep it short, I don't think there was anything I could do to remedy this problem.

Question for the experienced LTRs.

My gf has become mindless towards her mother, for example: as in whatever her mom says about religion (which relates to us) will always change her opinion on something we do. Sex has made her feel guilty, during it I can be as rough as I want and call her all the names in the book but after the fact the guilt kicks in. This was never a problem, but due to circumstances she has to live in her mom's place for a month and a half where all the damage was done. Now she's close to becoming a religious obsessed Christian. Thought she was a unicorn up until I fully realized these changes.

Does TRP advocate for male rights?

Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy recently posted an AMA about helping prevent children from ever going through puberty, and to me it seemed like an attack that needs answered.

Her profile on the children's hospital of LA page contains a video where she explains how nobody likes puberty and she catches kids before they mature and gives them drugs to prevent them from growing into men.

On her AMA (search her name), she mentions 'helping' children as young as 3. At age 3, maybe a child is too young to fight back against this woman permanently destroying their reproductive viability. It's a huge permanent decision that perhaps should be made after, maybe, learning how to read.
