As far as MMA goes I personally don't like Conor. He has in many ways started to believe his own hype and has started living out the WWE persona (Ric Flair) that he originally set out to imitate. Other fighters who have known him from the start have pointed out how much he's changed in order to truly live up to the persona. It's fake.

That said, he's one of the best, and I respect the fuck out of his skill. If he can take out Khabib I'll be on the Conor hype train.

Theyre true alpha males IMO. These politicians maybe "alpha" but most of those guys were let in through their friends/inheritance/network. Pro athletes literally have to grind to be where theyre at and are physically in their prime and can whoop ass (alpha).

Theyre a rare blend of being the most physically attractive and high status - something politicians and actors dont have.

You can be a 5 star actor but Mr. NFL Pass Rusher 280 pounds specimen will give their wife tingles to the likes Mr. Famous Actor Dadbod cant give her.

This is great but honestly the video that really motivated me was this couple-of-minutes long piece showing Conor and his crew just silently practicing body movement in nice natural settings. There is something meditative about how they're doing it (it's called Ido Portal Method), almost like watching dancers and performing arts. Seeing someone control their body like that real sticks in mind and makes you kind of more physically aware about your own motorics, at least with me.
