34 years of life experience has shown me that men are far, far more likely to stay with a wife who gets fat, than it is for a woman to stay with a husband who gets fat. I see it everywhere; the gym, the supermarket, the mall, you name it. I constantly see in-shape men with wives who have bigger waists than they do, but rarely ever a fit woman with a fat guy.

The top reason for this, of course, is female hypergamy, which all sidebar-learned Red Pillers are aware of. Not to mention, beta men are generally less likely to throw away any source of pussy, no matter how fat, lest they fear they will be able to replace it with anything above Rosy Palm and her five sisters.

The second is that, in much the same way a woman can be Alpha Widowed by a man who gives her sex god levels of sex, a man can be "Mother Widowed" with the woman who gives him his children; i.e., he will forgive her sloven degradation of looks and gaining of weight, for no other reason than she is the mother of his children. -All adult men belonged to 'messes'- small groups that met and dined together and were housed in individual 'men's houses'. (Male bonding and brotherhood)

The Spartans had it DOWN. Instead of looking for easy short cuts a la dad bod; they understood the grim reality that if they were not strong and fierce, they would die.

Women were encouraged to exercise, participate in physical activity, and participate athletics in order to harbor healthy Spartan children; not because they "hated women" or were "misogynists" but for the benefit of their future generations and legacy. Spartan women understood this and understood the role they serve in preserving their culture.

Can you imagine what King Leonidas would have to say about the "dad bod"? He would pick that weak little beta male up by his skull with one hand like an NBA player picks up a basketball and toss him off a mountain out of duty for his people and the protection of his mother land from weakness.

TBH, I think the most valuable TRP advice is one word long: lift.

These DadBods are so deep in their BP delusion, and the delusion extends to excercise. Since they are feminine, their only physical goals are to be slim and slender, like a fucking woman. So they only do cardio, which just reinforces the Dadbod AND makes it seem like they'll never get rid of it!

If these retard Dadbods picked up a fucking barbell and lifted 4 times a week for an hour each time, im quite positive their dadbods would disappear in under a month.

But they won't do that, because in order to do that they would have to confront their delusion and change their goals. In order to get rid of the dadbod, they would have to STOP trying to be slim and androgynous and START trying to be big, strong, and masculine.

But that shit will never happen. So I'm excited to be a normally-proportioned guy in a sea of dadbods in a few years.

I continually told Anna (and myself) I would lose the weight after the third child but it hasn’t happened. Eight years on, I’m the one who still looks pregnant. There might be light at the end of the tunnel though. I recently inherited a nice set of golf clubs from my father and am considering taking up the sport. Yes - because hypergamy and marriage. Marriage and divorce is highly profitable for women. They actually financially benefit from divorce. Of course they initiate it. They also don't have to do much to date, whereas men have to actively pursue women and usually pay too.

Women get to divorce, profit, and then just say yes to some of their suitors. (Although in most cases they are living out a fantasy where they ignore the reality of 20 years and 2000 donuts).

Gaining 4 lbs is nothing on a man. I vary that much in an average month. It's not the reason for the divorce.

I live in a Marine Corps town. I see how guys go from mediocre-chubby (by USMC standards) to total slob within a year of getting out.

Without the threat of PFTs or height-weight standards, many of these guys just let it go.

I'm just shaking my head, like, the Marine Corps got you un-gross, and now that you're out, you're embracing your inner fat kid.

Now, clearly this isn't true for all former Marines, but it is a big trend I see.

Though you're right, a recent study revealed that becoming a dad does lead to higher body fat index. I don't think its so much as being a dad but being married. I've never been married but I've dated a single mom for close to 4 years and experienced all the factors that lead to a decline in health. I'm a 10k runner and although I still trained hard for my races, I noticed elevated blood pressure when I checked myself at those free machines they have at pharmacies. Additionally, your money has to cover more people and it leaves very little if anything to give to yourself and less time with your parents and or friends. There are just more worries that come along as being a parent, so as TRP preaches "dont get married". I know the counter argument will be to work on yourself and Im sure many TRP parents here are pulling it off well; but the truth is, is that parents worry about their kids and if that worry isn't there, its only logical your health would improve/be better.

I "let myself go" for about 8 years and still had around 22% body fat when i started working out a little over a month ago. exercise, cutting sugars, starchy carbs, and only eating cheat foods once a week for the last 3 weeks. less than 8 weeks and i've dropped 10 lbs. body fat closer to 20% now.

this pudgy fucker needs to eat right and exercise, but its sooooo much easier to blame "family life" than do whats good for you.

I'm quite "dad bod" aka not fit. I'm not going to hamster it I'm just lazy and I get laid plenty without being in super great shape so I don't really see a point in keeping up the gym. I keep my dietary habits clean enough to keep myself at a stable weight.

Should I go to the gym for my own well being, yes I should, will I? .... Eh maybe next week
