Just got back from a date with a girl i met on tinder. 8/10, short but damn cute. I was nervous as this was the first post-TRP date i had. It didn't take long for my heart rate to go back to normal, but i still was a bit lost on how to work it properly.

She always wrote long replies and liked talking a lot. I mean, a lot. I'd ask one thing. Shed reply. I'd hold frame and wait for her to go on and she would for ages. Shed ask me a question, id give her little and off she went again. I sat/stood straight, open and strong too, leaning in every now and then when she did something interesting. It was great - at least the greatest it ever felt since i'm a recovering white knight BB

EDIT: She walked in. I was down a thin corridoor with a bunch of small tables. I messaged her 'nice dress' and she i could see she got all embarassed then messaged back 'thanks babe'. She walked towards me. I got up. Hugged her, gave her a light peck on the cheek and went from there.

From the start - the moment she sat down when we were getting to know each other, she said she was very traditional girl and held those values. This was brought up because I had just got my drink and the bartender came up and asked if she'd want anything - She got a drink and stumbled when i didn't open my wallet and pay for it. She then muffled 'thats not very gentleman like' soft enough that i probably wasn't supposed to hear it, but i did. I said 'i don't want to set a precedent'. that was that. She'd mentioned she acts lady like because she didn't cancel/reschedule a date with a dude the night before when i was pushing it all alpha like saying things like im more fun than tuesday night guy. then went on about chivalrous men and so on. It was interesting. She was hoping for a beta orbiter so bad. Fuck that shit.

That was the first part. Most of the date went well wasnt horrible. We talked about bad tinder related moments, interests, passions and family. I teased her about being scared of the internet as she was "traditional" (it wasn't bad in context, ok?) I asked, in context, holding eye contact - 'are you regretting this?' after regretting a couple other tinder dates and she got all shy, her tail went between her legs and looked to the ground replying with 'no way you arent a creep' or something like that with a smile on her face. When she first came in and i said she looked good and the next time when I said she should feel privelaged to be here with me or something like that - it was in context so i thought it might be ok. I then joked around and touched her leg for a laugh.

I did give away some personal info entering her frame because she did give me quite a lot - but after the first time of saying something about me, i can tell she just wanted to talk. So i said one thing then let her go on with whatever bullshit she had.

Towards the end the bar was pretty empty and the owners/workers were playing music and messing around - then signalled us to come dance and stuff. it's a small bar in a nice area. Drinks were finished and it was about time to leave so i kinda lead her to stop being shy and get up to have some fun, and some physical contact. I took her arm (yeah not aggressively, more just in a "come on" sort of way), put mine on the small of her back and guided her up to talk and slowly make our way out. That was fun for a bit. We then left. I put my arm around her on the way out as it was the most comfortable - bit of a height difference - and walked out

We left, walked for about 30 meters and i grabbed her arm and said stop for a second. She was a bit agitated and didn't really stop - knew what i was playing at. I turned to her and looked her in the eyes but she kept averting her gaze.

I then said 'im going to kiss you now'. Alpha as fuck right? I guess i wanted to seem like im telling her what im gonna do. Well she played the whole 'im traditional, i dont kiss on first dates thing'.

I should have said something like 'neither do I' or something witty but i was like 'you're going to make an exception this time' . still got resistance. I then took her arm lightly to guide her towards me but she was still avoiding it. After a few seconds of excuses from her i knew that was it. We then had to go in separate directions But i stupidly said 'your loss' as she was saying goodbye talk to you soon etc.

I feel i may have ended either badly for her or to make her think 'shit i should have done it' as i don't give a fuck. This is the most fluid date i've ever had so i'm probably a bit biased with how well it went so im seeing how trp assesses this. Whats the RP plan of action to nail the second date. I'm thinking the weekend would work.

edit; thanks. this was a great lesson i learned. I found trp a few weeks ago and this is sorta the first time i tried to be less shit at dating. It clearly went worse than i thought and hoped. Gotta start somewhere i guess. Im gonna just try for a second as i can invite her to somewhere of mutual interest. there was a good chunk in the middle where there was a bit of back and forth (about 30 me 70 her though) and gonna try get her to come to an acoustic gig. My logic.
