Can we share good recipes?

This Chicken and Broccoli stir-fry recipe is my favourite. All stir-fry recipes are easy, but this one has a ridiculously delicious sauce, which even my vegan sister approves of. Best of all, the video is written by an elderly asian chef who doesn't pad out his video with any bullshit like all youtube chefs. The only tough part is tracking down Tapioca Starch, which I feel is a very obscure ingredient (though you could probs use corn starch instead). Once you have that down, it's a very easy to make recipe that cooks quick, is nutritious and has easy to find ingredients.

Serve with brown rice (I use this guide to cook mine: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-cook-brown-rice-113856) for a delicious compliment. You can also add carrots and mushrooms in addition to the broccoli, I suggest adding them in at the same time you would broccoli - but have carrots in a bit earlier if possible as they need a little more time in my experience.

This next one is a delicious chicken/mushroom casserole recipe. It needs some time in the oven and needs a bit more prep than the stir fry, as you will need to dress your chicken in flour which takes a while. This is probably a bit less nutritious (a bit more carb-heavy) but you will make a lot of it and it is delicious. It's pretty easy to make too.

This is 100% true. If I haven't banged a girl by date two, date three is always at my place for a home cooked meal. By then, I've leaned enough about her preferences (meat/veggie/vegan, flavors, go-to drinks, etc) that I can easily guess what she's going to like.

I dangle a meal idea in front of her, and she jumps (most often because she doesn't know how to cook very well herself). I often do a bit of prep ahead of time (especially if I've chosen something ambitious because it sounds like fun), but always leave some prep/cooking for when she shows up.

Usual M.O. is to give her a quick tour of my place, and if we don't start fooling around once we hit the bedroom due to plausible deniability kicking in, the next step is to crack a drink and make the rest of the dinner together. If she's bad at prep, then some "hands-on" lessons are needed with kino and a bit of teasing. Once dinner (and more drinks) are served, we almost always end up in my bed. The only exception in the past 8 years was a chick who was looking explicitly for a LTR, and played the "good girl" card. Instead, she slept over topless, we both got off several times, but no PIV until date four.

I'm a pretty damn good home cook after 10 years of conscientious practice. The kitchen is my playground, and I have no fear of making something for others to eat that I've never made before (often without a specific recipe). You don't have to get to this level - even knowing some basic tasty recipes is fine.

There's a few tricks:

Make sure you have all the ingredients - nothing breaks the mood like a needing to make a grocery store run.
Showcase what you're confident doing - if your knife skills are good, save some chopping/dicing/mincing for when she's over, for example.
Memorize the recipe - a girl sees a guy make dinner without having to look anything up, she'll see you as a master chef.
Cook to what you know about her pallette - because cooking is a passion of mine, I ask a lot of indirect questions about food on earlier dates (favorite local restaurant/dish tells you a ton). Use this to plan the meal, within reason; if it's surf and turf at a top-end place, I'm not going to break the bank to make something similar.
Don't let her eat too much - you don't want her excuse to be "I'm too full!"

There is one huge downside to being a good cook... Every LTR has put in 15 pounds or so after meeting me. It's not because my food is unhealthy, it's due to their lack of self control, down to liking the pan afterwards, and me leaning their flavor profile. I call this the "[my name] 15" , similar to the "Freshman 15" during the first few months is college. On the other hand, it's a great excuse to show your mastery but taking them to the gym with you.

Learn to cook well, and it will both save you money, and get you laid.

If I'm understanding you right, a big part of this working is that you're in front of her actively demonstrating this skill to her in real time. While I totally understand where you're coming from, I'd just like to share that the best dishes I've ever made all came out of a crock pot. You can do anything from pot roasts to soups to chili with minimal prep time and pretty much no oversight afterwards. To be honest I've never used my cooking for baiting purposes but imagine coming home with a girl and the meal has just finished cooking!

This really is a thing that I think a lot of guys miss. I was a sous chef in couple fine dining restaurants over the years. People really overestimate the difficulty of making good food. 90% of what makes a good dish is the quality of ingredients that you start with. The other 10% is technique. Intimidated by cooking steaks or meat in general? Get a digital meat thermometer for like ten bucks at the store. There are thousands of really good recipes online, hell I'm sure there are videos on youtube that walk you through the entire cooking process.

As far as the instrument thing goes, I remember about five years ago I was at the lake with some friends drinking. There's a reason they taught home economics years ago, as learning to cook for yourself is an integral skill. Most young guys are intimidated by not having these skills, but they are easily learned with some time and patience. I recommend they begin with simple things, like anything with eggs and such. Also a slow cooker is about as easy as it gets, add ingredients, turn on low, and keep an eye on the cooking time.

It never ceases to amaze me how many men AND women can barley follow a recipe nowadays. I'm by no means a master chef, but following a lot of recipes is not hard at all. It takes time and can be annoying, but for christ's sake if you're an adult throw on the podcasts/music and cook some healthy, delicious meals. I think learning to cook well is a must for being a grown up. You also can improve your body through what you eat even more than lifting, so all this stuff goes hand in hand. I think this works great under any circumstance but if you have a killer pad then the panties will melt off. The only downside is the risk of this girl knowing where you live. One of the bitches I occasionally fucked suggested using Pinterest. Since then I have been pinning shit that I normally like to eat and make it at home.

For example: when you go to your favorite casual dining restaurant, perhaps Chili's (famous in USA), do you typically order the same meal? Maybe it's the Cajun pasta? Do a search for it on Pinterest and you will find the recipe on there.

Another suggestion would be to learn meals your grandma and mother cooked that you like so well. In my case it was an condiment used for all meals, famous in Chile (my mother's native country) called pebre - which is basically Chilean pico de gallo (or salsa). I make this condiment all the time and goes well with all my meals.

Another example related to family-inspired meals was my other family's side, the Cuban folks, have an awesome plate called camarones enchilados - which resembles, roughly, a shrimp stew. Making this is phenomenal.

Another source for cooking inspiration is: what are typically the types of foods you like? Be it Mexican (enchiladas), Chinese (fried rice), or Greek (spanakopita), you can now potentially access a new category of food that can provide you with those much needed nutrients and that awesome flavor you have always enjoyed. Plus girls always gravitate to your dick more when they are with a guy that knows how to cook.
