I'm aware that most of us here are not the marrying kind. But this book is hitting all the truths that we already know. The basic point is that women dump men in their 20s and early 30s because they need more AF or BB...and then end up alone at 40.

I'm only 34 pages in, but damn!:

\"Many of us went through our 20s and 30s making the very same choice--Prince Charming or nobody!--and ended up single.\" Translation: Ride the CC with AFs in your 20s, then look for the perfect combination of AF and BB in your 30s...only to realize it doesn't exist.

\"Even Prince Charming will have holes in his socks.\" Translation: AF is great for a night or a week or a few months. But even the best plate spinner is a person with flaws. Women can't accept that. They believe that AF will be perfect and want to be with them, exclusively.

\"Those perfect guys, if they do exist, want to date maybe the top 1 percent of 30year-old women. But every 30-year-old woman I know thinks she's in the top 1 percent. All women want a ten, but are they all tens?\" Translation: Women have an inflated view of their own SMV, plain and simple.

And my favorite...\"I think the reason some women have an inflated view of themselves is that in high school, they really did have the power, so they grow up thinking it will always be that way. And even in their twenties, they still do, to some extent, because they're so in demand. ... In their thirties, it's the opposite. The girl gives the guy free sex, thinking she's investing in the relationship that will lead to marriage, but then the guy, who is now the one in demand, suddenly says...'I don't want to marry.' And the women are shocked, because guys used to worship them, but they balance of power has changed.\" Translation: Post-wall women can't understand that they no longer have the power. They think they're a prize. They aren't. YOU are the prize, my good man. Improve yourself. Find ways to meet YOUR needs. YOU are the important one. Go forth!
