Love some of these ideas but they are a little dumb.

There are tons of rich guys swimming in vagina that don't have to use these techniques.

Develop your own style, make fashion, do not follow fashion. And the last thing you want to do is "B) Talk fashion with your plate" she can talk fashion with her girlfriends and orbiters, not with the Alpha in you.

Pro tip: dont just know what brand to buy - know what style of sub brand you want.

For example. some polo shirt company's such as Ralph Lauren or Hugo have either huge or small logos on their shirt. People trying to show off tend to get the ones with large icons - which immediately tells the old money people that this guy is a fake. Always go for the small icons.

There is a reason why vineyard vines, brooks brothers and lacoste have resisted the urge to have large logos.

For those in America starting out, I've got some tips.

Understand what colors go together/how they interact. Realize that black and brown don't mingle, etc. also, in this starting phase, stick to less dark colors and use more classic styles.
Dress the part. Take note of what others in your environment are wearing. Don't wear a suit to go surfing
Shop local goodwill and platos closets. This will quickly give you an idea of the quality of what you're looking at and will save you thousands of dollars. I do so about once a month and it takes about 30 minutes.
Stick to nice but non-flashy brands. Raulph lauren and Nike have great stuff but they sell things w/ giant logos and tiny logos. Always go for subtle. Buy the tiny logo. People can see quality, they don't need a logo.

It's well and fine to look better then average but standing out is far better then throwing on what society has told you is sexy. I see plenty of guys wearing clothes you would call 'fashionable' as society defines but they just have that look like their mum has dressed them up. Nothing cool about that.

As mentioned above, have your own style. Fuck what society says and own it. Most guys simply look shit because they're unfit and it has nothing to do with their fashion sense.

Also don't overspend on clothes thinking you need an array of outfits as that's how you'll run into debt in an attempt to please society. Society wants you to feel bad for not constantly upgrading your wardrobe so you don't have money to spend, don't fall for it.

I might be wrong , but in general i feel like guys from U.S.A are very easily offended when talking about clothes. As if suggesting more fitted clothes is asking them to denounce their masculinity.

Better to have personal style than be fashionable. But that personal style must involve looking good. There's even a guy I know who does pull off the fedora. He's in his late 40's always dressed in a sports coat or other semi-formal jacket and has great dress pants and shoes. Everyone calls him Dapper Dave. He always wears some variation on that and it works for him. (It won't work for you, I guarantee it). But the key is to have your own style. I tend to vintage western shirts, leather jackets and the like during the winter and mid-century summer wear in the summer.

Having my own style means that I am constantly complimented on my clothes by friends and random people on the street. It helps to get positive feedback.

If you just want to look good, I think dark pants, nice dark shoes, a white dress shirt and a nice semi-formal jacket are good for a lot of occasions.

D)Finally, back to the gym. Knowing the right clothes for the right situation help you command respect. I know, I know. This sounds crazy and mental but if you walk into the gym wearing a polo change into your workout clothes it's telling all those armchair warriors trying to get fit that you have a job. Changing clothes is necessary to show dominance.

The clothes make the man holds some truth for sure. I think that at the gym, your physique is the #1 differentiating factor from everybody else. If you are jacked with less than 10% body fat, you can roll up in a tank and sweats and still get IOI's from the front desk girls. Whereas a skinny geek in a polo going to change isn't going to get anybody excited.

This is some good advice. While I'm married, it was only recently that I switch my fashion trend. For decades I've been a t-shirt and jeans guy. Since I didn't want to hang clothing to dry, I was always worried about cloths shrinking, so I would always buy XL t-shirts because they would shrink somewhat.

Back in the early 2000s, I was 5'9" and approaching 170 and a gut was forming. Thus, my baggy clothing didn't bother me. I didn't start working out, but did cut back on eating junk food (mostly sugar water) and immediately dropped about 20 pounds. About two years ago I started working out with some lifting. I didn't make gains because I didn't eat enough, but being active did make me drop down to about 140. I found out my issue and started consuming more calories, mostly protein and I have now added about ten pounds of muscle.

About two years ago I finally moved away from pull-over t-shirts and got some nicer button up t-shirts. Still, I purchased them way too big, mostly because of the shrink factor. It was just within the last few months that I noticed just how baggy my clothing was. Now that I actually have a halfway decent body, my wife said that I look better in fitted clothing and I needed to get rid of all my crappy clothing. About $150 in some short sleeve shirts completely changed how I look and appear. I will likely need another $150ish in sweaters, a few dress up shirts, and some hoodies which I hope to acquire over the next few months.

What I've noticed is that the fitted style is in and if you are in any way muscular with a flat stomach area, there is no reason why you should be wearing nice, fitted (not too tight) clothing.

I'm starting to think that I'm mildly autistic. I understand that dressing well can be important, but I really never gave one shit about brand names. I honestly couldn't even force myself to give a shit about brand names and all of the nuances of judgment that come with it. I'm not saying that there isn't good advice here, but that I could never be anything more than a fraud by strategically choosing my clothing, beyond what is clean, neat, and appropriate for an occasion).

If I were king, I would be a Spartan king, as it would give me more gold to purchase more soldiers in order to mount really fashionable and stylish heads on pikes.

Brand and quality are far second to how something fits. Fucking insane that this wasn't covered. I squat 3 times a week to have the ass of a powerful man. You can be damn sure that whatever I'm wearing doesn't hide this. I don't spend $50-100 on pants because fit and price aren't mutually exclusive. I find slim straight Levis for $30 and watch as women objectify me.

The same goes for my shirts. I get black, grey or white undershirts at 4 for $20 and a size under what your avg chump wears. Women don't care that my tit doesn't have a horsey on it because they see my taper, traps, chest, shoulders etc. Even the thought of wearing a branded status symbol makes me cringe.

On point D: I used to stop by my apartment and change after work; I found that it was a waste of 20 minutes so I prepped my gym bag in the morning.

The front desk attendants greeted me more enthusiastically, and the cardio bunnies would eye fuck me all the way to the locker room, and subsequently during my workout.

Really though, the time saved was the only worthwhile outcome.

My old gym was a power lifting gym. I didn't give a fuck how I looked and would often roll out of bed at 5:30 and leave the house with no maintenance. I would rather lift there and chase gains than lift at my current gym (moved states) and be conscious of my workout clothes and sneakers.

There is a time and place for everything.
