EDIT: Based on what I'm hearing in the comments, it seems like Tor is not a good option. Upvote this for visibility and to improve the discussion.

Gentlemen, behold:

Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF):

In early 2006, EFF obtained whistleblower evidence (.pdf) from former AT&T technician Mark Klein showing that AT&T is cooperating with the illegal surveillance. The undisputed documents show that AT&T installed a fiberoptic splitter at its facility [...] in San Francisco that makes copies of all [...] Internet traffic [...] and provides those copies to the NSA. This copying includes both domestic and international Internet activities of AT&T customers. As one expert observed, “this isn’t a wiretap, it’s a country-tap.”

That was nine years ago.

More recently (same source):

Secret government documents, published by the media in 2013, confirm the NSA obtains full copies of everything that is carried along major domestic fiber optic cable networks.

The NSA is capturing and archiving most of the internet traffic in the United States. According to Edward Snowden, they're also doing this abroad.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: in the eyes of the world, browsing this sub automatically makes you an evil misogynist.

Here's a chilling question: How easy do you think it would be to ruin someone's reputation if you had their internet history?

As you use RP concepts to improve your life, as you fulfill upon your ambition and gain notoriety in the world, it is CRITICAL TO PROTECT YOUR ASS.

Do this by using the Tor browser for all non-sanctioned browsing. A good general rule is, "if you wouldn't want your boss seeing it, use Tor."

If you haven't heard of Tor, it essentially re-routes your internet activity to mask your IP address. In layman's terms, it becomes exponentially harder to link your internet browsing to your real identity.

Use Tor. It's one of those things that doesn't seem like a big deal now, but could quietly save your entire livelihood later.

Google "Tor Browser."
