So let's see what do we have here.

The first highlighted part displays a clever trick of putting the point across from a guy's perspective. There will be a bunch of simps out there who would think, "Well this guy did it and it doesn't sound too bad. Maybe I should try this stuff too, at least once. What could possibly go wrong?"

The next two highlighted parts are a bait to trap the ones who have a massive ego but fall a bit short in the brains department. Blatantly calling out men who don't want to date single women and branding them as "not being real men", triggers the above mentioned kind of guys. Some even take it as a challenge and go for it. "Oh so you think I'm not a real man? Well, let me show you what a real man is when I date this single mom and her kids, and care for her as much as I possibly can, even though it completely fucks up my social life and the peace of mind that I had before all of this.".

Even though the ones in this sub and many more out there immediately see through this bullshit, there are tons of men who get brainwashed beyond repair whenever these kind of articles are published. And that's incredibly sad.

While there are women out there who do not deserve this, the overwhelming majority is just living through the consequences of systematic bad life decisions. And if even pushing out a baby and suffering through life isn't enough to admit that something went wrong, chances are that you will continue to screw up. In my opinion, here's why you do not date a single mom.

1) I want MY OWN kids, not her and some other man's kids. I am not going to deal with an out of control kid who won't listen to me and his/her mother who won't let me do what needs to be done.

2) I won't come first

3) I am not willing to fix a single mom's fuckups, nor am i willing to pay for it (and if i do get involved with a single mom i WILL end up paying for it)

4) Single moms are trainwreck shitshow dumpster fire hot messes

5) baby daddy/ex husband drama

All the burdens and obligations of marriage, none of the benefits.

The only way, and I mean the only way, I would ever get involved with a single mom would be under these circumstances

--everything is separate. Property ownership, money, finances, etc. all separate. We don't live together.

--I have no relationship with the kids. I don't meet them, I don't see them, I don't take care of them, I don't do anything with them, they do not set foot in my house

--in the rare occasion i let her live with me, it is in a house I own, with separate finances, and the kids do not live with us

--Not one dime of my money goes to support her or her kids

--absolutely NO drama, from the kids, the baby daddy, or anyone or anything else

--I get what I want and need, when I want and need it, or it's done. No drama, no sex deprivation, no interaction with the baby daddy/ex husband, no kids, no asking for money. The minute anything impedes or attenuates me getting what I want/need, it's done.
