My question for MRP is, do females mate guard? What are the symptoms?

Here’s the what for. 3 months since the pill. Together 20, married 11, 2 kids under 10. Beta bitch for the last 8 years. Lift, STFU, sidebar. Finished prerequisites, reading 101 and advanced. 5’11, 186, lift, diet, no fap.

Here are the symptoms, my wife tries to call me fat and tells me not to tuck in my shirt and buys me everything oversized.

When I graduated college I swore to myself I would never wear anything less than a button up dress shirt, unless appropriate, (sports, gym, lounging at home.)

When I turned beta I slowly broke this promise to myself. Now she is trying to buy me polos and faggy dad-pants. (Those not quite slacks not quite athletic pants that have zip off lower legs)

Sorry if polos and Dad-pants are your shit, but they probably come with a blue tooth headset and Mini-Van.

See my previous post about my pops the ex-marine. He was always tailored and suited. If not he had matched work out gear, and if there was a hoodie, it was a university he attended or USMC. I learned style from him and he taught me all the shit the kids of single moms struggle with. Trouser cut, shirt cut, how to tuck fold polish all that shit. I hated the man as a kid but the more MRP I go the more I love the man. (When I fucked something up, I did it again, think Sargent Hartman)

Long story short, the wife is constantly trying to blow up this style and fighting everything that was taught by my pops.

It’s all good. She buys me gifts I don’t wear and makes style suggestions I ignore, but it ends up as one long constant shit test. I feel like she is trying to turn me into Will Ferrel, where I would much rather dress like Tom Hardy.

Is this Female Mate Guarding or an attempt to complete the Beta Transformation in her mind?

I know I am hamstering a bit, but I’d really like to look at it as blow back on progress, or is it more of a residual of my last eight years being a beta bitch?

A little more logistics. Tonight is my last night at home before leaving the country for months for work. She wanted to surprise me by taking me shopping, and tried buying me the douchiest things. Shit test ensued on clothes sizes, and testing my frame, “well, what do you like?”

Honestly, reading this, I realize I should have just told her, “I don’t buy shit on a whim, and I only buy things I need after careful consideration.” But I guess I humored her because she was trying to do something nice for me. Ended up with one pair of Dad-Pants, two neutral items, and the coolest NorthFace pull-over. (The kind women will see and have to touch and say, ooooh, that looks warm.)
