Pretty fucking stuck on what I want to do with the rest of my life, would appreciate some input from some of the older guys here.

Currently 19 studying maths and computer science in my second year. I'm pretty good at it, I enjoy some aspects of programming and I know I can get a decent job once I finish my degree but I don't know if I want to sit in front of a computer and hang out with nerds for 8 hours a day for the rest of my life. Are there any good jobs I can get with a cs degree that aren't just programming?

I have also been tossing up going into a trade such as electrician or mechanic since I enjoy fixing/making stuff, the only problem I see here is there is not a lot of career developement. Even more recently I have been looking at being a firefighter since the pay is pretty decent and I would have a good work life balance.

Pretty much I am tossing up between something that will eventually pay well if I dedicate myself to it but there is a chance I will want to blow my brains out after a few years or something that I will probably enjoy but doesn't pay as great and doesn't have much room for developement.

E: thanks for the advice. Definitely leaning towards sticking with cs.
