LTR. Is it worth it?

You'll have to choose between fucking around doing ur thing, or her. Its impossible to have both homey. Depends on the girl man, that's the only rational answer to when this question comes up. Most are not worth sacrificing all those things u described but a small portion are and will be ok with your extra curriculars but only to am extent. You prob should try an LTR just so u can see what I'm talking about.

This is completely a personal choice. In fact, it is quite a number of personal choices.

The red pill is made of information not directions.

We tell you how to achieve your goals, not how to choose them. Whether you "should" do an LTR (or two) depends entirely on what you like.

But as someone who likes LTRs, I can tell you I haven't sacrificed my freedom, my choices, my money, or my plates. Just my time and care. For me, that's a rewarding investment. FunSize and FanGirl make me happy.

Your mileage may vary. Having a girlfriend is one of those things like having kids. Either you want to, inherently, for its own sake, or you don't have any urge, and you don't understand why anyone would do this. You don't have a girlfriend in order to get sex... that's stupid. You don't have a girlfriend in order to... anything. You either have one because you like the process itself, or you don't, because you don't.

I jumped into an LTR for two things. My partner sees my goal in life, and only wants to see me succeed. The other reason which I think is the most important is consistently good sex. Back in my plate days, it was fun to have a variety, but things weren't always 100%. I picked my best lay, and married her.

You can have a LTR but you must keep your frame. As someone who was a complete dog on a leash in a LTR, I lost my frame early on and paid for it dearly. Keep doing your thing but just have a LTR. The point is to keep doing what got the girl in the first place. Do not change. Do not budge. Do not shift your tide.

Now the question: I never had ltr and wondering is it worth sacrificing it all for seriuos relationship?

My experience is that an exclusive relationship is a pure cost with no benefit. They are not worth having even if the alternative is to be lonely and celibate. I've tried serious monogamous committed relationships, and 99% of them are simply the woman extracting commitment from the man. Women give men nothing, men pay everything. Waste of fucking time. I'd rather be a single virgin than ever have an exclusive relationship again.

Pay off? Of course not. A relationship isn't an investment. You don't put something in and get something out. You put everything in, and you get nothing out. The more you do and the more you commit to a girl, the more valuable she feels, and the more she demands of you in future. She'll also weaken your ability to get other girls (or confidence in yourself) to help facilitate this transformation. Marriage is the ultimate expression of this.

Exclusive LTR's are such bullshit. Look at 20 year marriages. See the cold dead look in the guy's eyes... he's not looking for escape any more, he's looking forward to the sweet release of death.

HOWEVER.... I do like developing "a thing" with girls, I enjoy relationships with them and their company and so on. And so long as you never go exclusive, the honeymoon period can last for years. So do that. Have multiple relationships.

Here's a good rule of thumb OP: a good relationship requires you to sacrifice nothing except a little time. You don't have to lose money, freedom, choices... you don't even her to lose your access to other women. Give her nothing more than your time (which is on your terms) and she'll worship how awesome you are. Give her everything else and your soul too and she'll grow disgusted with your weakness.

TL;DR: Your life vs girls: you don't need to choose, take both.

Depends on what you’re looking to get out of it. Evaluating whether it’s worth it depends on your objectives.

I’d say avoid committing to an LTR under the age of 30-35, but I do think it’s something that is worth trying at least once at some point.

Just keep those side bar principles in mind at all times.

E.g don’t make being in an LTR your objective, she won’t love you the same way you love her, be ready to leave at any time etc.

To answer your question basically it's all relative considering an ltr depends entirely on weather both parties are getting what they want in a healthy context but you do as you like based on your requirements.

If an ltr has been vetted,stayed consistent and has manageable flags take the chance know you can walk when your ready or uncomfortable.

I’m 20 and have only been in LTR’s. I guess I wish for your life, but there’s something about falling in “love” which can’t be explained. The whole illusion of seeing the rest of eternity with her when you look into her eyes, beginning to merge your existence with her because you believe and trust her, then she meets Chad when she goes clubbing, slobbers his whole load and still kisses you goodnight.

My point: the highs and endorphins are great. Throwing caution to the wind and giving yourself to another being wholeheartedly is great. But beware, AWALT, and when you’re alone in the dark, vomiting and crying your eyes out when it ends, just know it was your choice.
